Truly an artist! How long has this been around? I can remember painting my island in my kitchen back in the early 90's and sealing it with a clear poly. It worked great. Everyone loved it. They called me brave. 🤷♀️

Suggestion: Maybe try a vibratory tool, like those used in concrete. Turn it on and place it on the bottom of the table, and you might more quickly get rid of a lot of bubbles.😊

I have all the supplies already but it’s just me (54yo disabled) and too late found out I can’t lift the MDF board I was going to use to fabricate a new peninsula. I’ve also already taken the upper cabinets down and knocked the wall down to counter height. I have the new sink, new faucet, new soap pump and electrical outlet pop-up for the peninsula. The rest of the countertops I was just going to epoxy over existing. Feel free to hold a class here! 😁

Yes you can. The heat gun just tends to manipulate the design a little more than a torch, you often have a cord to worry about, and the heat gun to cool down so we prefer the torch.
I really recommend a nice rubber type scraper for consolidating the contents of buckets 🪣 or 🥤 🍵 cups of paint, epoxies. They are not extremely expensive at dollar stores and can help use less product and clean up easier for reusable containers.

We do have a wood grain tool that works really well with our non sag wall epoxy.

Yes you can. The heat gun just tends to manipulate the design a little more than a torch, you often have a cord to worry about, and the heat gun to cool down so we prefer the torch.
I really recommend a nice rubber type scraper for consolidating the contents of buckets 🪣 or 🥤 🍵 cups of paint, epoxies. They are not extremely expensive at dollar stores and can help use less product and clean up easier for reusable containers.
