YOU'RE STARTING GRAN TURISMO 5 & 6 ALMOST AT THE SAME TIME!? What a chaddeus maximus.
Gran Turismo 5 & 6 in terms of overall game depth are miles above FORZA MOTORSPORT 8. Also, the intro theme of GT6 "All My Life" is equally GOATED like "Colorful Dreams Colorful Smiles".

10th Anniversary Gran Turismo 6 Since 2013
Yes. That game came out on 6th December 2013, two weeks after PS4 console was launched. Still far more superior than FORZA MOTORSPORT 8 ironically.

GT6 for me in terms of overall progress is miles above even FM2023 REBOOT and Project CARS 3. Even all 13 Nijigasaki characters also loving GT5 & 6 as well despite Kaz Yamauchi says that PS3 GRAN TURISMO games are such a nightmare.
This game looks amazing when actually ran on HD. Looks like a new game. I am installing it now.

Shioriko Mifune's Mazda 787B and Ayumu Uehara's Sauber C9 in GRAN TURISMO 6 sounded far better than in FM8 ironically.
Now it almost looks like it runs better than it did on PS3...

Some versions of PS3 hardware really did have a lot of trouble running gt6 hahah
On PS3 GT6 is choppy as shit. Also it has a lot of jaggies.
I'm not being a hater, but this game has more textures and visual quality than 2023's Forza Motorsport

Last time I played this on RPCS3, it wasn't the most stable, how playable is it now?
Not fully playable yet.. lots of Graphical issues, and will crash after u start a 2nd race. (You can fix it by using Recompiler (ASMJIT), BUT will impact FPS a lot.
With a good cpu dont matter much

Yes. And miles better gameplay depth and not stupid online only career mode for GT6.

Thanks for doing those. Recommend you update your game to version 1.05 using a program called Rusty PSN (you literally just download the update files and drag them into the emulator), each update improves the game markedly.
Unfortunately for version 1.06 onward (it goes all the way to 1.22), the game becomes far more unstable and slow. Of course, with your PC specs you might still want to give it a try, if not you can always re-install it.
I ran GT6 with Spec II MOD. It brought back all 34 Driving Missions from Gran Turismo 4 and all 178 Online Seasonal Events plus all 50 User Created Tracks in the game. Like Watkins Glen Cup Course, Playstation course and SS ROUTE X ON DRUGS.

I have 4060, 16gb 3600, 5600. I have a lot of green graphical artifacts, and stutters and low framerate. Rpcs2 works better with Intel CPUs?

Yep. Umi Sonoda's R89C, Eli Ayase's R92CP, Setsuna Yuki's Minolta 88C-V and Ai Miyashita's BMW V12 LMR all have crazy top speeds.

Still a few graphical glitches. Welp.. gonna wait on GTA 6 and Elder Scrolls 6 to get patches and DLCs before buying a new system anyway. When that time comes RPCS3 should get further along in accurate emulation. Another 5 years of waiting should do the trick.

Me too. In GT6 there are also Sierra Time Rally, Ayrton Senna Tribute, GFOS Hillclimb and all 34 driving missions from Gran Turismo 4 that returned via spec II Mod.
