This has gotta be my favourite match I've ever watched. Such a close game, constant action, and just the sheer weight of firepower from the guard! seeing those valkyries dropping bombs left and right once the endgame hit was incredible. 11/10 match.
One of the best matches ever casted, this is as close to lore we could get- mass battles and maximum carnage and the guard holds despite murderous losses
That Baneblade was the work horse of last minute comeback. Seriously impressed how it was kept alive despite constant action, eldritch and phase shift. I couldn't believe blue team's roster after Landraider went down.
That was an amazing match. Best I've seen in recent memory. Incredible play all and a nail biter all the way to the end. Truly clutch manticore salvos. Makes me think it would have been more than worthwhile to have made firedragon and group teleport hunter teams.

GG! What a game! That artillery support, the spotters, the mines into Manticores into huge tank shots! What a treat. Though I would tweak the numbers a bit for those abilities, it's crazy how the blue team just managed to shrug off 40 rockets and 50 shells like it's nothing.
That was an awesome game with an awesome ending. What a clinch victory. Too much was focused on that one VP. Honestly there was a constant pressure but when it broke and faltered, you knew the match was over and they had overextended at last.
It is mainly a targeting issue from the looks of it. Will need to find a way to fix it. Maybe it is necessary to make it unable to fire at anything but vehicles and also fix turret rotation rate. It is way to slow and shouldn't be able to target multiple units.
I was skeptical about the double Manticores but oh boy how those had paid off. They probably should have tried to target the Redeemer more often than the blob but that's probably easier said than done. KAD GOR was a problem in this game though, didn't hold his lane at all and I don't think he don't respond well to Dolphin SM range build. Instead of going T3 or getting Stormtroopers (which play even more to Dolphin range), he should just get an Ogryn or Catachan. Got carried hard but made some good decision toward the end.
The Redeemer can be repaired at almost no cost, whereas Mantiing the army meant bleed at best, and lowering health of units at worst so that you can push back the blob easier once it reaches you.
But they retreat to the Redeemer, you have more chance hitting them there than at the front. Also with that amount of Manticore being deployed I think you could one-shot it honestly if everything hit@@milosmilosmilos
Omg.... All wse had to do the whole game was tp top, get a sneaky gate, mass tp on manticore with a banshee or autarch fusion or fire dragon or heck even his wg. He could have eliminated all manticore menace in a minute at any point in the game. What a strategic tunnel vision failure
So painful to watch as there was no attempts to destroy those manticores after the initial phobos (albiet useless) chase. The manticore had full reign in this game completely unopposed.
getting any subcommander against a LC is the dumbest thing you can do. Execute does 300 damage gladly accepting any stupid decision of a player to give him a free kill donation from single model units.
There was a Fire Prism going deep chasing the Mantis at some point, but it got shut down. There were also Raptors jumping in, chucking Melta Bombs but it really is a stretch if you keep moving Mantis around, keeping your enemies on their toes.
Great game strong comeback, but what is point of plasma baneblade ???? first one did nothing all those big shot and nothing like worst baneblade ever, and i don't mean player just the baneblade version.
I really think manticore should be limited to 1 per player. Having 5 manticores at the end just constantly spamming the vps is the most brain numbing skill less gameplay possible in dow2. Having any push instantly bombarded by either artillery spotters, manticores or global abilities is a real snoozefest. Blue team only had a chance abusing the retreat bonuses for units but manticore spam is so brain dead.

Exactly! You don't even need Firedragon: just group teleport Wraith Guard and one-shot any Manticore

At 17:27 is what i have been saying about the phobos.Its an anti vehicle late game purchase that cant anti vehicle.
