    Hi there, thanks for the review. I just wanted to check on the leg rest for the Joolz Aer + and if the new model can fold down with the leg rest attached or not? Thank you

      Hi there! Yes the Joolz Aer and Aer+ can fold with the leg rest attached and the Aer+ leg rest is compatible with both models.
      I have a separate video where I go through what accessories are compatible between the two models if that helps -

      Depends on what country you're in. In Australia Infasecure adapt more, Cybex Cloud Q, Nuna klik.

    It’s so disappointing that the Australian version doesn’t have more of recline. I purchased it thinking it did because I watched reviews from the us/Europe. Wish I saw your video before hand.

      It is a bit of a shame. Though I've since been given the feedback from someone who had the original Aer, upgraded to the Aer+ EU version and they said they feel like it's unstable when the seat is fully reclined, and regret the decision. So I thought that was interesting.
      And the tricky thing with the premium travel strollers (like Yoyo/Bugaboo etc) the weight distribution sits further back over the rear wheels to give the smoother pushing experience, which you'd expect from a premium stroller. But then they can't have a full recline (in Australia at least)
      So there's always a compromise.

    Is this suitable for a 3 months baby? We are travelling soon and we have a day 3 Joolz but it’s quite spacious ….

      The Joolz Aer/Aer+ (in Australia) only has a semi recline so is approved from 6+ months. The main concern with newborns in a semi upright position is the potential for babies head to flop forward which can compromise their airway.
      I think there's some discretion with that guideline, but personally I wouldn't suggest it for a 3month old.

      What about at 5 month old?

    • @ParentingCentral
      @ParentingCentral  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Thomas, I think around 5+ months is where you could start to use your discretion as a parent about your child and their stage/development, because every baby does develop differently.
      Being very mindful the safety standard around a seat being 6month+ is the potential risk of baby's head flopping forward.
      So it wouldn't be a decision to be made lightly.
      I would also personally be hesitant to allow an infant to fall sleep in the seat even 6-9months. Again, depending on size/development etc
      I hope that helps make that decision easier?

    Do you know if the new foldable bumper bar will fold when attached to the original Aer?

    • @ParentingCentral
      @ParentingCentral  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Precilla, the Aer+ bumper bar will fold with the Joolz Aer. I've listed in the comments what Aer+ accessories fit the Aer and vice versa. Hope that helps!

    • @ParentingCentral

      And I've made some additional notes to make it a bit clearer that it will fold with either stroller (and any other updates with the accessories)

      Thanks for sharing this! I emailed Joolz and they claimed it wouldn’t fold with the Joolz aer. I just placed my order! 😊

      Hi Maura, thats weird. Can I ask if that was Joolz Australia or another country?
      I'd actually shot an accessories video on Friday because I've been getting so many questions about the Joolz Aer+ / Aer accessories because of the confusion about what accessories fit which stroller.
      But then I got your comment yesterday so I've edited bumper bar into its own separate video, so you don't have to watch through a whole thing to see the Joolz Aer+ bumper bar fold on the Joolz Aer - th-cam.com/video/Jg4rl7FGIh0/w-d-xo.html

    The joolz aer + does recline more there's a clip at the back

    • @ParentingCentral
      @ParentingCentral  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Laura thanks for the comment.
      Unfortunately in Australia, NZ and I believe the USA the recline mechanism is still the zip and strap recline and only a semi-recline.
      Whereas so far UK, Europe and Korea have the full recline and the updated recline latch/clip mechanism.

    Will this stroller be suitable for a tall child?

    • @ParentingCentral
      @ParentingCentral  ปีที่แล้ว

      The Joolz Aer/Aer+ has quite a tall seat. Approximately 55cm backrest and 62cm maximum height under the hood. The main limitation with any lightweight compact stroller will be their leg length once they're getting to preschool+ age if they can stretch their legs down to touch the ground.
      But you'll get as long out of the Joolz Aer as any other stroller.
      I hope that helps. - Rachel

    The joolz air+ can recline father. There is an clip in the backpocket that allows for full recline

    • @ParentingCentral
      @ParentingCentral  ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately that update isn't available in Australia due to differences in our safety standards.
      But yes, in the global market there's a new recline mechanism and it will recline further.

  • @scottking6002
    @scottking6002 ปีที่แล้ว

    The biggest difference is the recline and thats the one thing that wasnt shown

    • @ParentingCentral
      @ParentingCentral  ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree, the full recline is the biggest update for the overseas model Aer+
      That's why the recline is the first thing I show in this video because it's important anyone buying in Australia understands there's been no change to the recline for the Australian model.
