    MECE in layman =
    Different but compatible
Different but share the same goal
All for one and one for all

Hello, I'm invited for McKinsey phone interview next week after I passed my PSG last week. the job is analyst position but they mentioned in the job requirements that they are looking for someone with BSc or more advanced degree and 4 years working experience and it is also stated that the seniority level is associate... So, if someone gets this job will be on the same level of consultant, more or less? I ask because I understand analyst position is entry level and I have 2 masters and 6 years working experience. Does the case interview If I passed my phone interview? If, yes, what would be your advice to pass my phone interview? I knew it will be 30 minutes to check my motivation and to tell me about the vacancy.

You will not proceeed as an associate that is a high seniority level in which you lack the capabilities and skill sets to be a client lead you will need to start from scratch and work your way up if your not coming from the same industry / sector, however your advantage will be weighed through your 6 year experience in promotions and you should be able to stand out if you really do then you climb faster than normal analysts.
Also Mckinsey has only business analyst but if you mean junior associate in consulting career path then correct. Jr Associate > Associate > E Manager
