I love this tier list serie of his but I have to agree. Its a bit odd when he say in the video the gun is medioker and yet adds it to A tier...

Yeah it's a tough line, Last time I was very critical on the guns and I got quite a few people complaining that some guns were to low down. I'm not saying that I place the rankings purely to appease viewers, but maybe I was a bit too kind.

MP-412 is good when playing with mags enabled and you don't get Deagle (or mags for it) yet...
Fort is better than PM (sentiments that carries from ShoC up to GAMMA/EfP) and pick it instead (trying to edit loadout files if possible) before switching to Beretta out of sentiments.
Machine pistols are a novelty concept. More useful in video games than IRL. Full-auto modes have been found to be useless for machine pistols. They're better off with 2- or 3-round burst modes. And it's gotta be hyper-burst so each burst produces a recoil impulse that feels like one round being fired. Btw, what's the point of a 6-round mag in a semi-auto pistol?! Especially since there's another semi-auto pistol in the same caliber that uses 9-rounders!

8:38 Should have high accuracy by pistol standards. The only edge 7.62 Tokarev really has. Brandon Herrera calls it "Boomer five-seven," though that's a misnomer since it was invented during the time of the "Silent" generation by a man who was of (I think) the "Lost" generation.
8:51 That's why nobody makes .45 caliber machine pistols. Assume that the MAC-10 is a submachine gun intended to be fired from the shoulder.
There are 4 tiers of weapons A B C D. Knowing the best in each rank is extremely important. Pistol s have 3 tiers based on early game, mid game, late game. A progressive tier list would be more helpful.
When it comes to repair kits, all pistols are A tier, so it is not worth mentioning.
There are a couple interesting things about damage:
1. Korth 4 and Korth 6 have more damage than your typical .45ACP pistol. Not sure how that would affect your ranking tho, if at all.
2. rechambering a gun doesn't change its damage, so native 9x19 guns are marginally better than 9x18 ones rechambered to 9x19.
Also, you could probably add a bit more granularity to the list by moving guns without lasers a tier down, since lasers are completely busted thanks to point fire.
There is base weapon damage and round damage. If you rechamber .45 to 9x19, it will have less damage, but it will be more efficient against armor with AP rounds - kriss vector is the best example
Definitely second the Glock Hornet. I found it at advanced toolkit in a white stash and it's a vibe. Recoil is maybe just a bit rough without upgrades, and combined with no optics means your target might get obstructed at mid-range if you're using a suppressor. You probably don't need one anyway. Definitely an economical hip-fire close range champion.
(For Mags players: If you're having trouble finding extended magazines, they're actually the KRISS Vector .45 ACP magazines since the irl Vector can use Glock magazines. They're sold by NATO traders (Lvl 2 upwards? pls correct if wrong) and you just have to right click -> retool. There's no actual 40rd mag as of writing. There's a 33rd mag categorized as small, and a 50rd categorized as medium. The small mag is already good enough. Just fill up all your small slots and leave your larger slots free for your rifles/smgs.)
Btw I don't really have your issue with the MP412? At least on GAMMA for me, the single-action animation seems to be purely aesthetic? Like you can shoot as fast as you click just like any semi-auto. There's no screen shake or anything. One variant even comes with a red dot by default. It's become my favorite mutant pistol alongside the Hornet.
Why does the debug menu at 6:47 have so many duplicates? Such as the FN FIVE SEVEN? My debug looks the same it’s just always bugged me

6:34 except it has worst durability (maybe in whole game?) and it breaks VERY quickly. Especially when used against mutant - so shooting a lot.
Just repair smh, the rpm and the mag are very worth to trade the durability

90 FOV, 0.65 HUD FOV
Any pistol with wobbly gunslinger aiming animations - F tier. Desert Eagle now uses this ugly animation, the best are the the SR1M for armored enemies and OTs-33 for mutants since 9x18 is cheap, but due to sp10 ammo is quite rare and expensive, OTs-33 is the best early-game pistol in general.
What happened to the USP Match Tactical in 9 by 19?

Is there a way to get the Pistols back from the Pretty Pistol Pack? For example the Variants of the Desert Eagle: Black, Silver and Gold?

Inaccurate, slow firerates and ttk , small capacity and can easily being replace by smg or shotgun. Handguns existed in gamma feel like is just for the sake of variety even in new game loadout there a lot of better gun to choose from rather than handguns

For me, I would prefer Tier lists per Ammo caliber. Or tier list per purpose (mutant fight / stalker fight). As often you ask yourself what best gun I can use for all this 9x18 I stocked on
i'd prefer that too, or at least a recap at the end of the tier list series with all the notable weapons per caliber, just like last time

I'm surprised that you gloss over suppressor availability, since a lot of the handguns don't support them.
seeing the TT-33 go down to F tier was shocking to me, its my favorite starter pistol as the 7.62x25 round actually has decent penetration for early game and fine damage, the sights are great (for me) aswell, i tend to use it over my primary and it slaps hard
I have to specify before commenting that there is no hate : but i find your tier list shit, all the S tier is ok but a lot are said as good when they are shit
Issues with the MP412 seem like a skill issue to me honestly. It fires the strongest pistol round, and can fire just fine and I don't really see your problem with it moving the aim around like you say. It is also vastly easier to find and repair generally than a deagle, making it an extremely power early gun. I tend to go for the .45s most of the time, but occasionally I find an early Rex and tear mutants (and honestly most early stalkers) with ease.

The Steppe Eagle is F tier. It makes my game crash almost every time I equip it xD.
Don't use it, it's actually broken Grok knows about it and is apparently working on fixing it, don't know why it's still in the game but it shouldn't be in this video

I just found the FNX-45 a few days ago and was equally hating how it seemed like a direct upgrade to what I was carrying, until I looked down those horrible sights. Tossed the thing like 2 minutes after initially finding it.
I understand your point of view and yes it really is awful for a game. In real life though if set up right having a red dot combo with irons can help you a lot. In game it is worthless and makes the gun useless. I guess they just added it because some modder had a gun nut friend or wanted to implement it in the game.
The weird combo shight works well with night vision.
Korth 6" - S tier, because it has small recoil, auto mode and the biggest damage of any other .45 pistols. It kills almost every mutant by only ONE mag. Also it has supressor and scope. Imho Korth 6" is greatest for mutants.
P.S. - you may also put supressor (which gives you some performance enhancements) and scope.

I personally love the Voigt Infinity because of its burst fire mode and have used it for almost my entire playthrough.
When timed right, the burst fire turns it from a semi into a makeshift fully auto .45, add hydro shock, and it absolutely decimates any mutant put in front of it, even pseudo giants only last a couple of seconds.
It basically becomes a pocket vector, but because of it low (I think) hip fire recoil, it's still extremely controllable.
The fnx45 has co witnessed irons sights which is a good thing irl but not in a game

ngl, I kind of just pack a shotgun/sniper along with my trusty G36 or AK-103/AK-Alfa... and my 1911/USP/Glock is in the Binoculars slot. Well, unless I'm expecting to raid a base and need to spot better.
I mostly use it as my security blanket when Artifact Hunting, as well as to finish off Monolith that are writhing on the floor. Because, you know, they always suicide on you.

i don't use handgun much cause i only mainly use assault rifle and shotgun, but i do slot in a 357 magnum sometimes on the vision slot for backup. coonan doesn't feel right for me when i use it, not enough oomph
Fun fact : you'll only use these pea shooter against a blind dog rather than a suited up monolith guy with an exosuit. Or any enemies in general
I think there are 2 more fort pistols that u missed. fort 17 and 21 (21's reload animation is kinda cool imo)
The Fort 17 doesn't spawn in GAMMA and the 21 you can only get from Eidolon
I actually really enjoy the voight infinity. It's slick and it's good against low teir mutants. And maybe bandits of you don't wanna spend your good ammo.
I hope someone makes an RSH12 mod that gets added.
Thanks for all of your videos but let's be honest - if half of the weapons are A-tier it doesn't make much sense. I would rather see a lot those in B - they're okay but nothing special.
actually, i think you will find the 1911 won two world wars 80 years ago and therefore is peak modern handgun
if the Glock 19 Hornet ended up anywhere outside of S tier I would have been sad, easily my favorite pistol in the game and my primary mutant killing gun, freeing up my primary slots for a sniper and a cqb gun
In the current version of GAMMA, the P99 has two upgrade kits that don't seem to work. There are two versions of the base pistol in the game, and neither of them seem to be upgradable.
I tried upgrading the USP Match to be fully automatic but for some reason prior to upgrading it switching fire modes does nothing and is still on single fire mode...
imo upgraded for higher bullet speed Korth 6 is the 2nd best pistol against mutants after Desert Eagle
Could you include the weight of each gun in the lists? Personally I find that to be a good deciding factor for each weapon I carry

I found a Coonan in Agroprom and it's been an absolute blast to use. The thing pastes mutants and looks good while doing it. Personal S tier.
Okay, Mr. Moxy, I can't be the only one that loves using weapons that have the canted sights style of "Scope" on weapons. If I may be so bold to make a suggestion, be the only person that's puts together a list or video with that information on it. I will literally go out of my way to use a weapon that makes use of them even I find something better stat wise. I know that some guns like the Monolith Ak has a laser sight that's canted and it rocks! Some pistols do too. Nobody has that information out there and I can't be the only one that likes that either. Love your content man, keep it up.
I hate canted sights, but I love using a laser as my canted sight.

Does someone know if it'a accuracy or handling that reduce weapon sway when aiming ?
Typically it's just damage to your arms that affect sway.
Handling reduces accuracy penalty from shooting while moving, shooting continuously, or shooting standing up
Accuracy affect first shot accuracy, and generally lowers spread for shots - high accuracy makes your first shot always where your reticle is

My man, even you missed one more pistol or I missed it: When you kill monolith chosen he got artefact and 9’19 pistol called Ford-21 or something. It says that it were made by Israel and USA as I remember. Two times I finished this dude and every time I got this pistol from him. All the times I bring this gun to base and repair it, after repairs I just throw it in gun case like a good addition to my collection.

It's a mod setting in the mod manager of gamma, I think the mod is called freelook or smth.
