You people should listen to facts and not propaganda. The banking sector crisis started under NDC… BoG gave all of these banks funds to revitalize their banks but some of them misused the funds and some even went as far as opening new banks with new names and then some went into real estate in the USA. So why do you want to maintain such banks? Some got funds 3 times but still could not follow the BoG structure… why won’t they be cleaned out and save the Ghanaians depositor? It was the best move

Name 1 country where collapsing banks and merging them with larger banks owned by the ruling party helped the country.
Why didn't NPP collapse databank when they were having liquidity issues.
You're the only one spreading propaganda my friend.

Who told you at all that9 billion? NDC continue to spill lies, but you didn't bother to ask them why they couldn't do it before leaving....NDC with Mahama supervised a weakened banking sector and now turn round to accuse Akuffo Addo of collapsing banks..

@@kwesifelixboafo5333I was watching a documentary about how cartels used banking crisis to merge banks and gain a monopoly and take out competitors.
Amazingly this is exactly what Akufo-Addo and the NPP did.
Name 1 country where merging small community banks with larger banks has made the economy better.
      Just 1.

Ghana went into an IMF program before the NPP came into power 2017, so how or when did the IMF make this requirements, moreover the NPP govt extended the IMF program and why are you saying this now?

some of the banks were closed down out of jealousy. heritage bank had no liquidity challenges.
