Hey Jim! Love your content, and I have a question for you. I've been working as a freelance sole proprietor for a number of years. I often find then when a client has an adjacent need, I phone a friend and get them in touch as a second sole proprietor. My question is, do I need to form an LLC or S-Corp to hire those secondary freelancers myself (meaning the client would only need to pay toward me, and I would pay the other freelancers)? Trying to make sure I do this right! Thank you again so much for your insightful content!
Im looking at contract manufacturers and one told me I had to fill out a W-9 to see their packaging options and get billed for the first phase. Why do I need to provide them a W-9? I asked and got no answer from them..
