Honestly, I think you addressed this splendidly well. You tackled it with a great deal of respect. Madeline is an excellent character, in terms of personality, growth, and design. She has touched the hearts of so many people, and I think that speaks volumes. I have met plenty of people in a similar boat as her. I've been in that boat. Furthermore, I am glad you mentioned that mental illness affect everyone differently. Everyone goes through it in different ways. It shouldn't be treated as a quirk or taken lightly, but as an ailment that requires support, time and treatment to deal with. It is rarely easy, as factors such as misinformation spreading like wildfire can hurt so many, but making the effort to learn and help can make the difference. I certainly know how it feels...all too well. Each day, it is like trying to clear out a tsunami with a bucket. Some days, the load can be easier to carry, but others can make your body ache. You lose joys you once had, becoming indifferent towards that you once were jubilant for. You become jaded and tired, unable to even fake a smile, as you don't even have the energy. Even crying becomes rarer, as you start to believe you have lost that ability as well. Some days are easier, but the bad days can be excruciating.
I won't lie, this video was very spot on when talking about the subject on mental health, very well made and excellently handled! Might be one of my new favourite videos of 2024! (I'm not joking! This was very good!) Looking forward to your next video, mate!
