Here’s an additional perspective: CH got pregnant twice when she was 16 and had an abortion both times. The first time, she told her parents, who told her she should have an abortion and that they didn’t want to raise another kid. They drove her to planned parenthood. She said it was the most “parenting” they had ever done. The second time she must not have told them because she paid for it herself. She naturally wanted to feel loved by her parents and to that end convinced herself that they were right and kids were stupid anyway.

Conservative "logic": "If somebody publicly talks negatively about something then that implies that person is unhappy with their own lives and secretly believe that thing they say they don't like is true."
"That's why childfree persons who talk about how great childfreedom is and how bad having to take care of children is really are want children and are jealous of those with kids."
"That's why Atheists who talk about how bad and stupid christianity are really love christianity and know it to be the truth."
Real logic: So, then, that would also mean all Conservatives are secretly angry about their own lives and know how pathetic and worthless their own lives are, and they know how great and awesome Childlessness and Antinatalism and Communism and Marxism and Atheism and Animal Rights Veganism, and the IPCC and Greta Thunberg and climate activists are because conservatives NEVER shut up publicly with their pathetic complaints against Communism and Marxism and Atheism and Animal Rights Veganism, and the IPCC and Greta Thunberg and climate activists.

He never once took a day off work or called in sick... he traded in his peace of mind to do his duty and I respect him for that, but wow did it make him miserable. The Media, the 24 Hour News Cycle, quick views on our phones and YT, program us in the Illusion of Authority and Understanding. Who wants to actually make more of an effort to engage with someone and where that might lead? Possibly more agreements and similarities? Or deeper disagreements.
I don't think her background and tragic loss of her brother prove Causation in terms of her enjoying being single and without children, but it might be THE reason. Maybe. She would have to admit that for me to prove your theory correct, but either way, my appreciation to you in modeling some thick skin as well as patience and compassion for her background. It still doesn't mean I give her a pass for throwing mud with "SDE" shaming tactics of "betas". She's too old to be talking like a high schooler. She deserves to be called out on that.

Now the messenger can give context but if your message/views can’t stand on its own 2 feet then your message imo has no value. People are always entitled to their opinions but if people don’t understand the world we live in, the times we live in , the fact that although we dislike having enemies they are all out there, there’s a time for cohesion and there’s a time for change and maybe when the enemies are knocking cohesion should come first.
