From everything I've heard, the team has already confirmed that this 9 episode season is all there's gonna be of this show. They have one story to tell and are not gonna try to stretch it beyond what is needed. I think Gangle's comment is a pun. She said it's called a manic "episode" (her extremely overly cheerful demeanor) and there's three more seasons to come, basically saying that her emotional world is deeply unbalanced and this is not a once off experience for her. She has to live with it every day, and so do all the people around her by proxy
@@meganshaw1987November 6th 2023 Gooseworx stated “the plan is 8 episodes total , one season.” This would later be expanded to 9 episodes but still only one season. August 17th 2024 Gooseworx stated “I don't really think there could be a season 2.” The next day clarifying “ I could probably stretch the story out and have 5 seasons of filler episodes if I wanted, but I would rather have each episode have some kind of meaningful character development, and not waste peoples' time with filler. Glitch lets us tell the stories we want to tell, and I think that's coooooool.” Explicitly stating that the decision to be a one and done season is their decision rather than Glitch’s. August 18th 2024 also had Gooseworx confirm that script writing for the series had concluded. So any extra seasons would have to have been decided after episode 4 was already in production. August 18th 2024 also confirmed that at that point in time episode 3 was in post production, episode 4 was in the animation stage, and episode 6 was in the storyboarding stage. Predictions would say that episode 5 would have just entered post production now that episode 4 is released, episode 6 then slides into the animation stage and storyboards are either on episode 8/9 or even already finished. August was a major Q&A session from Gooseworx on tumblr that we haven’t gotten since so the current exact stages of production isn’t completely known and only the questions answered are known however it is likely that the voice acting for episode 4 had already concluded before episode 4 entered the animation stage so the animators could better lip sync with the audio track. Technically it could be done later if the early focus was on set design but you’d likely do all the voice acting as soon as you can so you can have more time working on character movement and syncing. Based on all publicly available comments there is no indication of a season 2.
7:26 It's not that life is horrible persay. The fast food is familiar. It's "normal." Gangle is Manic-Depressive, and working fast food is likely how they used to stabilize. The breakdown in episode is a manic event, culminating in a depressive crash in which Gangle symbolically throws off the mania to experience what is sometimes called "suicidal relief." Suicidal individuals who reach this point have decided to go through with it and feel euphoria, like how Gangle bolted and smiled while crying. It's this phase in which a suicidal individual commonly gives away items, removing attachments and paying debts owed, like how Gangle tossed her mask. The truck was suicide, and the horror on her face before and after is the regret. When you feel that rope, there is sometimes relief, but it will always come with regret. You are enough. You are able. Your pain is shared and we hold it up easier when we lock arms together. Don't give up, please. Take it from someone who, I swear to you on my own life, understands. 💜
I feel like episode 5 is going to start with something glitching related. The last time we see Caine in this episode, he’s absolutely freaking out, glitching all over the place, so what if in the next episode, the team doesn’t get a daily adventure because Caine has lost it, and they have to find out where he is and what happened to him, all while avoiding Circus glitches and breakdowns. Or maybe, they get sent on their daily adventure, and as Caine waits for them to come back, he glitches even worse, and the adventure starts to break down with the team still in it.
i don't know if you know this, but Gangle goes by she/her pronouns, and Zooble is the one who goes by them/them. I think you might have mixed the two up lol
I have never worked in fast food but I fully understand the stresses of the situation due to other experiences. So whenever I go to Fast Food places I do as little as possible and leaves after having cleaned my place.
Those cracking sounds... it's a perfect metaphor that even with a stronger mask, Gangle has a hard time keeping it together. Just like Kinger being more enlightened when kept in the dark, this show got some really emotional ironies.
Here's some things I found interesting. So first off, it is confirmed that the characters in TADC still remember their past lives, just not their real names. So Gangle saying she was a shift manager means that not everyone in there may have been developers of this digital world. Also, at 33:07 you can see on Caine's computer screen the letters "C A". The same logo that was shown in the first episode when Pomie stepped into a digital version of the real world offices. One more thing, and this is only a theory of my... maybe the reason why Gummy Goo doesn't remember Pomie isn't because of a memory wipe, but because he's a different version. Remember in the second episode when he fell out of the map? He saw his brothers and a copy of himself frozen, what if Caine brought in the copy for this adventure and not the original?
22:19 Pomni: "Well, that was more info on gloink reproduction than I *ever* needed to know." The way Pomni said that sounded exactly like how Airier would say that.
8:35 actually i've seen quite a lot of those that *do* have buttons to force it on or off if needed, which may also disable the motion activation of it? not sure.
The fact that you refer to Zooble, who's unsure of their gender identity and has body dysphoria, as she while referring to Gangle, who's confirmed to identify as a woman, as they is, well, mildly surprising.
It both is and isn't surprising. As someone who is non-binary with gender dysphoria, it's actually a pretty common phenomena to have people refer to you with very gendered terms, while using gender neutral terms for someone else lmao
Im guessing its because of their designs. Gangles design is very androgynous while Zooble has the cartoon "female" eye lashes on at least one of their eyes
ragatha is always nice so you dont know for sure if its just an act.... i think cain just isn't supposed to be a boss on anyone...that's the point of it
21:46 this is very accurate. I worked in a fast food store for about a year and a half minimum (actual cant remember heavily repressed) and it felt like four years. It was a bad store constantly losing employees and id always get called in because I was a reliable pushover. Open to close six days a week. Near the end i started lying about drinking on my days off so i would actual have days off.
caine isn't making everything, he IS everything. caine is the computer the entire circus program is inside, though that doesn't necessarily mean he has awareness of and/or control over all of it (after all, how much control do we have over our own internal organs..)
7:34 as someone who has been gangle, when you are rewarded with metrics, promotion, and praise from your boss for your "positive attitude, leadership skills and being a team player" even though you have trauma you still feel both vengeful and nostalgia for those days. That's when you "accomplished things" and were recognized. Plus, making other people suffer with you is, for some reason, unfortunately, healing & satisfying. When you act like gangle does people just think you're happy & like the job so they treat you like a normal person. I would sadly have done exactly the same thing and the same job where I was a shift leader, a customer threw his free food at me that he had accepted bc we didn't sell what he wanted. 35:46 Yeah, def retraumatizing. Cathartic & awful at the same time
It's almost certainly possible the fast food work suggestion wasn't Gangle's but someone from before the current show that Abstracted. Maybe the dog character we saw a picture of in episode 1 on a door?
22:29 Wait I just realised. Dancing lessons? Backstory? 30:18 btw the clock was replaced becose previous one was browken xD 32:46 was thay your wall? No its your screen... windows 11?
So, I've worked in fast food, but at a subplace. So, I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to commentate. But, from what I can gadge, this seems about actually. They are definitely just below average, despite Caine putting them slightly above average in scores. Also, hoping for kingerside quest. Howdoesbull?
I’m sorry if you’ve already explained this but…where is your reaction to the newest Helluva Boss episode? That said, this episode is great and really develops a lot of the characters that needed it, especially Gangle and Zooble.
The Amazing Digital Circus reminds me of Doctor Who God Complex hotel and the animated show Reboot. Weird how Pomni is too short to work the cash register. That Gangle does not realize that and give Pomni a stool to stand on to help Pomni reach the register. Knowing Kinger is at a rodeo the whole time Pomni, Gangle, Jax, Zooble are working at Spudy’s (I think is the name of the spud based food court restaurant in a mall that Sue Heck works it in the the tv show the Middle) is hilarious. So many tv shows I think had characters working at spud based food court restaurants in a mall. The figure order the stupid burger sounds like Saturday Night Live Cast Member.
that seems to be the pattern with these episodes. each one focuses on a character and makes me care about them. the only exception is caine and jax because you can't make me not immediately like those guys
I’ve never worked at McDonald’s but I have been to McDonald’s a lot and I’ve never seen a bathroom that could be described as a biohazard (and at least the two of those that are next to where I live are understaffed)
Fact to ruin your day: Gloinks reproduce by the queen eating things. Literally every burguer the queen ate turned into a gloink on the other side As shown in the first ep
It's possible that the characters ARE dead, given that both Kinger and Gangle's episodes so far have included parallels to them and potential causes of death.
29:18 calling it here, Jax was the first person to arrive at the Circus and his current jerk attitude is him trying to draw everyone's thoughts away from there own minds and make them angry instead of terrified.
Damn... and I thought I had repression from my time in retail. You legitimately refused to even say it by name at the start, what in the hells did they do to you??
27:08 because it seemed better than whatever they’d been doing before? It sucked, sure, but compared to whatever she’d been experiencing before Pomni arrived, it was probably better
Jax is also acting, he is constantly playing up his obnoxious personality, probably because it is easier for him to be dislike by everyone than having them care, in this episode we see him too tired to act, and at that moment he just goes to check on Pomni, he really ask her how she is doing and calls her by her name whitout trying to make fun of her at any moment, it is really out of character for him, that's why Pomni is suspicious when he does it. I believe Zuble and Pomni are the most honest and stable members of the group.

I think Gangle has been stuck in this for so long that they've forgotten how terrible customer service is. They probably have some kind of idealized picture of anything from their old life.
You think you're having nightmares just watching this for a few minutes... try living with it for the litteral months or longer it took to animate this ;)...AHHHHHHHH (talking of memories of ... hellish serviice jobs)
Dude I LOVE Your Videos!!!! You're So Enthusiastic And Honest I LOVE IT! ❤
38:10 Kane can't get abstracted, because he AI.
*But he can glitch-out, as shown in this episode...*
*And we know Caine CAN BREAK, as briefly shown in his meltdown with Zooble's "therapy session".*
I wouldn't say can't, we saw him nearly have a mental breakdown in the last episode when zooble told him nobody likes his adventures. However, I think this episode was just normal glitching.
KANE LIVES!
...sorry, had to make a C&C reference...
@@Snakie_Chan It's alright, as that reference helps express your feelings on Tiberium branch of C&C!...

By having Gangle say three more seasons, I’m assuming that’s the show’s crew informing everyone that there’s more to come.
@ then, we’ll see.
18:51 Yea.... try working in a factory and having to watch 90's gore tapes, ACTUAL VHS TAPES.. that... oh god the horror!
i don't know if you know this, but Gangle goes by she/her pronouns, and Zooble is the one who goes by them/them. I think you might have mixed the two up lol
I thought Zooble went by all pronouns?
Oh I just made this exact comment lol
You can’t hide from Helluva Boss forever. Mwahahaha
I have never worked in fast food but I fully understand the stresses of the situation due to other experiences.
So whenever I go to Fast Food places I do as little as possible and leaves after having cleaned my place.
Former fast food employee of 7 years......This episode had so much PTSD!!!!! Oh, also I'm pretty sure Cain's a Final Boss in Denial.
31:26 home screen jumpscare
Those cracking sounds... it's a perfect metaphor that even with a stronger mask, Gangle has a hard time keeping it together. Just like Kinger being more enlightened when kept in the dark, this show got some really emotional ironies.
Pretty sure I saw his eye twitch at the “time to lean time to clean” and I don’t blame him, at all
Oh, just realized ragatha must have been a rich girl. Probably had an abusive parent too.
21:05 this musical from Halloween 3
22:19 Pomni: "Well, that was more info on gloink reproduction than I *ever* needed to know."
The way Pomni said that sounded exactly like how Airier would say that.
It's words. They don't mean much.
@Stranger-A-K As someone who get suicidal from time to time over being misgendered, I very much beg to differ.
@Stranger-A-K no, words actually mean a lot
My boi got that PTSD from working in a restaurant chain
24:34 Look at this, you can pinpoint the SECOND he has a FastFood flashback! You can SEE this soul crunching second by second...Dang this is heavy😅
5:02 OMG YOUR FINGERS!!
Am I the only one who can't stop looking at the white spot on Airier's beard?
ragatha is always nice so you dont know for sure if its just an act....
i think cain just isn't supposed to be a boss on anyone...that's the point of it
I'm like, 70% sure gangle was close to abstracting if pomni hadn't said anything and distracted her before gangle left, is it just me?
21:46 this is very accurate. I worked in a fast food store for about a year and a half minimum (actual cant remember heavily repressed) and it felt like four years. It was a bad store constantly losing employees and id always get called in because I was a reliable pushover. Open to close six days a week. Near the end i started lying about drinking on my days off so i would actual have days off.
caine isn't making everything, he IS everything. caine is the computer the entire circus program is inside, though that doesn't necessarily mean he has awareness of and/or control over all of it (after all, how much control do we have over our own internal organs..)
Ragatha at one point is quoting a song from the Raggedy Ann movie.
Man, this episode was a bit too real. Guess it's a good thing I don't even bother putting up a fake smile, and just have resting-Frisk-face!
Cathartic & awful at the same time
26:20 It's called the *service industry*
Fun Fact: In German dub the three gloinks which are named, are called after Murder Drone characters like Uzi, N and V.
It's almost certainly possible the fast food work suggestion wasn't Gangle's but someone from before the current show that Abstracted. Maybe the dog character we saw a picture of in episode 1 on a door?
19:18 don't look now but Zooble's VA has her own animation coming up.
In German subtitles those three gloinks are uzi n and v
well, cyn instead of n but yeah
@cnarylmaz998 hmmmm i like n more than cyn so n it is
22:29 Wait I just realised. Dancing lessons? Backstory?
30:18 btw the clock was replaced becose previous one was browken xD
32:46 was thay your wall? No its your screen... windows 11?
31:27 Nice desktop background
Awesome episode.
I believe the next episode will focus on Ragatha, so that's going to be fun.
I'm having flashbacks to when I worked at McDonalds. That was not a good 6 months in my life. I was so happy to leave that job.
I’m sorry if you’ve already explained this but…where is your reaction to the newest Helluva Boss episode? That said, this episode is great and really develops a lot of the characters that needed it, especially Gangle and Zooble.
Did it live on Friday, but it was struck down on TH-cam. The regular, not live version, goes out later this week.
@@Airier Ah, fair enough. Thanks for the reply.
If your interested, Monkey Wrench ep 4 just dropped, and it's a real emotional one.
4:40 zooble IS nonbinary so them/them😊
19:46 THERE ARE NO FACES
THERE ARE NO FACES
THERE ARE NO FACES
THERE ARE NO FACES
THERE ARE NO FACES
I dont think Gangle was a monster for threatening Jax with punishment; he has been going unchecked for a while now
The Amazing Digital Circus reminds me of Doctor Who God Complex hotel and the animated show Reboot.
17:44 why is my jar of pickles unavailable?
Yooo I'm first. And i also love this episode. I didn't care for gangle before this episode and now she's top 3
that seems to be the pattern with these episodes. each one focuses on a character and makes me care about them. the only exception is caine and jax because you can't make me not immediately like those guys
This episode brings to mind a quote from the Great and Mighty Kevin and I wonder who hates mankind more: an accountant or one who works in fast food?
I’ve never worked at McDonald’s but I have been to McDonald’s a lot and I’ve never seen a bathroom that could be described as a biohazard (and at least the two of those that are next to where I live are understaffed)
27:41 Yup..
No it gangle back story
28:02 they say hell is other people
19:46 And a little bit of Halloween 3.😄
Fact to ruin your day:
Gloinks reproduce by the queen eating things.
Literally every burguer the queen ate turned into a gloink on the other side
As shown in the first ep
Gangle is really cute❤❤
We must protect her at all costs..
It's possible that the characters ARE dead, given that both Kinger and Gangle's episodes so far have included parallels to them and potential causes of death.
How did he not realize that was gangles backstory
You think VISTA was bad... try 8...
Jax deserves it
Karma has caught up to him now
29:18
calling it here, Jax was the first person to arrive at the Circus and his current jerk attitude is him trying to draw everyone's thoughts away from there own minds and make them angry instead of terrified.
Damn... and I thought I had repression from my time in retail. You legitimately refused to even say it by name at the start, what in the hells did they do to you??
Imo is more on the high spectrum than drunk
