most of the time, they make you comfortable first because once you get friendly chances of getting truth from you are higher as compared when you are conscious
Very frequently. You will be surprised how frequently panelists are uber-relaxed. We get worked up imagining that they are out to get us.

We could just replace complete first 100 km with the original four tyres and then after every 100 km we could remove exactly one tyre till 500 km
i figured out the solution in the first go of my thinking but it would be substantially difficult to replicate the same in an interview but I'll prepare myself accordingly
Can we ask for a pen and a paper in an interview ?
I mean is it really advisable to solve it verbally ? (No scribbling allowed)?
I have not done well in CAT 19 but it took me half a minute to figure out the car tyres puzzle😅

Good stuff! But also keep in mind that one interview minute = seven outside-interview minutes. :-)
Interview pressure is different
There are a lot of methods of solving a Rubik's cube apart from CFOP! Be it Roux or ZZ method and what not!

Actually Rajesh Sir is correct. Magnus Carlsen has the winning streak in classic games but not in rapid and blitz. He has made that winning streak during Tata Steel Masters Tournament conducted from 10/1/20 to 26/1/20. This is actually one of my biggest doubts regarding GDPI. What happens if I give a wrong answer? Will that reduce my chances of selection or only the confidence with which I say that wrong answer matters there?

For the puzzle I was actually thinking on the lines of using 2 wheels at a time placing them diagonally in the car for balance but I don't know if that would work practically.
No, it wont work practically. Imagine driving this.
The interesting part about the puzzle was to decode the increment after which the tyre can be replaced. If you think in terms of number, i mean 4 tyres and each with capability of 400kms.... you get it don't you!
Sir what should be the correct way to answer Tell me about yourself. Because i read everywhere and heard from alumnis that saying our name, our undergraduate college and stream is kind of cliched and everyone says that. If you can shed some light it would be really helpful.

5 2 3 4 --> 2nd 100 kms, 2,3,4 =200 n 1,5=100
5 1 3 4 --> 3rd 100 kms 5,1=200 n 3,4=300 n 2=200
5 1 2 4 --> 4th 100 kms 5,1,2=300 n 4=400 n 3=300
5 1 2 3 --> 5th 100 kms
