Ya know, he gets on my nerves with his antics but he's a good enough bean where it counts. He's like a John Lennon. Infuriating and memorable all at once.
QotD: It was a two-way tie between Sonic and Kirby! I loved Sonic enough to where I had a crappy 1990s Halloween costume and everything! I still like Sonic, but now as an adult, I love Kirby way, way more.
Both solid choices! I've warmed up on Kirby a lot over the past few years and, while I never had a dorky Sonic costume as a kid, I *did* play a Sonic obsessed nerd in one of the first web shorts I did back in high school lol. Like, walking around with a boxed copy of Sonic 1 touting it as the 'book of Genesis' obsessed.
Ahhh very cool! I haven't played ToS yet but it's on my backlog! Is there a specific version you'd recommend over the others (if it's been remade, etc)?
The Crash skits turned out great. I liked the reference to the commercials. I haven't played a lot of the Crash Bandicoot games. I played a lot of Crash Team Racing when I went over to my grandparents as a kid & I had Wrath of Cortex on the Gamecube but I've only dabbled with the PS1 games. To answer your question of the day my favourite character is Yoshi. I like dinosaurs a lot as a kid.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for participating in it's creation! Yoshi is a pretty awesome character so I don't blame you! Yoshi Story was one of my favorites as a kid
I'm old enough to remember being curious about Crash when he was the new mascot on the scene. Only finally played it a few years ago when the remake came to the Switch. And . . . I hated it. Found it too difficult and tedious. But I finished the bugger, and still can't help but wonder why SEGA didn't make a Sonic game in similar fashion to this for the Saturn. And yeah, Sonic was my fave character as a kid. Had the games, toys, annuals, British Sonic the Comic, cuddly toys. I even got the Right Said Fred song Wonder Man because it was used in the Sonic 3 commercial over here. It's nuts to think but, seeing Green Hill Zone for the first time is amongst my earliest memories. Crazy.
I'm shocked that Sega never went this route either. Though, funnily enough, I was thinking about how (now that Sonic Origins is out), they should do an N. Sane Trilogy style remake of the first few games on Friday! And then, lo and behold, they announced Sonic Superstars, which basically skipped a step and just went straight into Crash 4 territory lol. Revisiting the Switch version for this video definitely has me agreeing with you (at least for that version). The framerate was way too unreliable and the stock D-pad that Nintendo controllers have this generation just don't cut it
QOTD: Crash then and now. The N-sane trilogy finally pushed me to buy a PS4 which was my first playstation console after the PS1 and pushed me back into gaming completely. Also, he’s my PSN pfp. With that out of the way on with the video
All you need to know is Crash Bandicoot as a game platform series has been reviewed quite poor in Japan that the game got officially in the west rather in the East of Japan but the series is very fun, i would say its harder than Mario and Sonic games, it needs to come to get Japanese attention more, it used to be Naughty Dog for the first 3 Crash Bandicoot games as the company but now Activison or Toys For Bob or Vicarious Visions did with the remaster of an HD Trilogy called Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy, oh by the way Nitro Crates are like TNT but they instantly explode if Crash Bandicoot touches it he plays a digeridoo upon death in Crash Bandicoot 2 Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot 3 Warped, yeah this game is Australian in a way, Bandicoot, Marsupial also Digeridoo those are the important clues in the series another interesting fact is that the Level Stormy Ascent is the hardest level in Crash Bandicoot 1 it got removed in the original game but got put in the Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy instead for those professional type players who are good at Stormy Ascent.
I haven't played CTR outside of a Nintendo Switch Trial when I was sick once, so I can't vouch for it. But as a diehard Muppets fan that owns their CTR/Mario Kart clone, how DARE you (jk)

Crash is my boy.
Ya know, he gets on my nerves with his antics but he's a good enough bean where it counts. He's like a John Lennon. Infuriating and memorable all at once.

I’m glad! He was so difficult to work with though. A total diva.
Qotd: Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia. Something about his erniest heroism is just great.

@NichePlays either the gamecube version or the original PC version, Last I heard the audio hasn't been fixed for the remake.
