my wife and I just love this part of the world, you can keep going abroad, you just cant beat st ives and cornwall we have been here so many times and never get tired of it.
Live in Seattle, WA but have the good fortune to visit St. Ives once every three or four years. How lucky are we? You Brits really have a special place there.
I live in a beautiful part of N Cornwall but if asked to present a promotional profile to represent this beautiful county, I would choose St Ives. Where I confirmed my love for Cornwall 66 years ago.
A friend who lives in the UK since 2011, told me about St. Ives, it's a beauty!! It seems there is some sort of a micro climate hence the color of the waters!!
My son goes to sleep with the sound of this video. I converted it to Mp3 for him. And who the hell would give this video a thumbs down? ! . Man, there are some sick people in this world.
Amazing video montage - some amazing vistas and my favourite place in the world Heading down in September and can't wait Perfect afternoon's viewing and live the sound of the seagulls
No there aint boy. Big park is out of town. Park by station or small one below the island, that's it. If just visiting best catch train from St Erth for a beautiful journey and add another memory to your visit.
St Ives is place to go in winter for a holiday. There is a lot of places to see from there with in 20 miles . Why don't you go there and for your self.
My family, grandparents/Great grandparents and ancestors on dads side are all from Cornwall and Devon.Wondering Why did grandparents ever want to come to USA.
Sadly we dont get much wether like this and one thing not to complain the roads get paked and people walk in the roads and people who live there cant get pasted if we can get this to stop we would have a nicer looking place TY
There is no where on Earth like ST. Ives. Its my Shangri-la. Many many happy memories. Xx
with weather like this, who could disagree ?

Stunning Paul. Who else is watching in 2020!
I've watched several times a year, since it was available, especially during a miserable day, a real pick-me-up.
Cornwall is the most wonderful and most beautiful place in the world.

You cant beat a uk beach resort. Arcades fish and chips ice cream the sea cries of the seagulls. The best holidays.
The tiny Church on the Grassy headland is St. Nicholas, the smallest and oldest in St Ives, Patron Saint of Children and Fishermen, pre 14th century.
Visited many times. Little tip for parking...Follow road into st Ives...massive car park near the sea front
