SENKAKUWAN or SENKAKU BAY is one of the most scenic spots on Sado Island. After many years of wind and water cutting into the Rhyolite rocks which uniquely break up in a striped pattern, the result is five bays cut into Sado Island stretching 3km long and 20m high.
