Quick overview of the MDT ORYX bipod. It is a good lightweight option. **Information only** **There was no modification of firearms in this video** **I am not affiliated with and do not sell any products**
KFW ... I would personally recommend: UUQ Heavy Duty Bipod - 8” to 12” Inch Tactical Rifle Adjustable Bipod, with Sling Stud Adapter Base, Additional Picatinny Rail Adapter. From amazon. It has a wide stance and has 2 hookup options. It is a tad heavy but it is extremely stable and stays put. It is not to bad on the $$ either. I absolutely love this bipod! In fact, I love it so much I am slowly gettting one for each rifle. I have 3 so far 😮😊 I find the skinny ones to be wobbly and not as stable side to side. This one with its wide stance is nice for keeping the front stable. If you try another, maybe give it a look. I think you might like it.
Thanks. That one does look really nice. I think I will give it a try. In some it’s easier to use the bipod. I have always used some type of rest and I guess just more used to it.
@kyfirearms I can honestly say this ... I had a cheap bipod on my budget build Ruger 10/22 Wednesday, and just for kicks, I put this bipod on off the CZ. My groups were probably .2 better with this on. It is a little heavy, I said, but I think that is what helps with accuracy. Keeps the front planted better, in my opinion. If you can deal with the added weight because I know you said your main thing was you wanted it light, but I do think you would like this. We'll, I hope you do, if you try one or it will be my azz lol 😆 😜
Appreciate the review, thanks a bunch. 👍
Well it wasn’t much but hopefully gave enough info. I think I will keep it on the Ruger ranch for now.

Thanks, I appreciate it.
Thank you for the review
Thanks for the comment. I appreciate it.
KFW. Looks like it ought to do the job. Thanks for the review. Take care.
Thanks 🙏
I didn't think it was possible for MDT to make something that cost $100, ha ha
Yeah, who knew. It is well engineered but still pricey for what it is.
@@kyfirearms MDT certainly does carry a premium. My CZ 457's MDT parts cost more than the damned rifle itself did :-)
Looking for a bi pod
I don't think I've ever paid more than $25 for a bipod. I have had a few sent to me for review.
Do you have a favorite? I am really a novice when it comes to bipods. This is only the second one I have ever used.
