Well, I must say this is as good as the original and perhaps better. I would love to hear original music from Mr. Davis. This is the way it's sposed to be done. The only thing that would have made it better is some steel or slide guitar.

theres a woman from northeast Tennessee who covered this song about 15ish years ago, she changed it to be about Stevie Ray Vaughan instead of Hank, and they used to play it on 101.5 WQUT a whole lot.
