To many city slickers around here. Need to go back where they came from.
Everyone getting their license should have to get a CDL, no exemptions or exceptions. Then maybe, maybe they might understand what a bigger piece of machinery needs on roads built for cars and pickups. I could send you video of facial expressions when we drive around the square, priceless.

Moldboarding burns up organic matter faster, so that could explain the yield, but in my experience it takes more time and fuel than ripping. Do you have those figures? It's overall profit that counts, not just yield. Thanks for posting this btw!
It comes down to a extra 75 $ a acre profit.
Eric we all know the end average is what counts . Not what a few archers does. Just saying. You can throw that contest out the door
The contest really matters a lot to us. It’s what drives us to push the plant to see what we can get out of it. Farm average is what I look at. I’m plainly showing you the yields that I’m capable of doing without irrigation.

@@TheCropCritic I respect farmers but thats a bit inconsiderate to not take a 8 row header off for 3 hours 😬Its a respect thing on both sides for the farmer and civilians. Ive seen farmers travel down the road with big headers knowing that the only place for cars to go is in the ditch and I refuse to do so.
First of all a 8 row header is no wider than the machine itself. So there is no reason in taking it off.
