I first found out about this a month ago (not from this video but on Reddit), can confirm that this works and I highly recommend doing this instead of giving Paradox money. Don't reward disgusting business practices. DLCs are supposed to be additional content on top of a COMPLETE GAME. But at the moment you're paying full price for an incomplete game, then have to pay hundreds of dollars to get the rest of the game, simply just highway robbery. What makes this even worse is that new features are also locked behind "DLCs".
DLC'S are NOT REQUIRED. It's called a BASE GAME for a reason. Although I still think once you buy the game the DLC'S SHOULD be FREE! I paid for a game and ANY CONTENT that's released AFTER the base game. Why is it that we can get FREE BUG/PERFORMANCE etc. updates but not the DLC/S that are EXPANSIONS of the BASE GAME are not? Sounds like the gaming industry learned how to exploit money legally.
If buying ain't owning then pirating ain't stealing tho there's a small issue. I already bought some of the DLC and got some extra from the pr sh|t-fest that was the launch of the DLC for south America so what do I do? Do I delete the files with the DLC that I already have?

The main menu is always glitched so you can't see checksum and the middle window is duplicated, also the new dlc just doesn't appear at all in the bottom corner (not grey or not green). could you make this video for the entirety HOI4 because it's like a $70 in my country and I cannot afford that and I do not trust Steam.Unlocked because I don't know if the version of it on Steam.Unlocked is safe and if it is. how do you set up multiplayer if you know anything about it
Steam.Unlocked versions are mostly safe and you can't play online with others, only those who cracked the same version as well could in theory play with you through a LAN party app.
I did not make the file I simply shared it with the rest of the people in video format. You can search the cs.rin.ru forums by the latest to find if someone has done it but it should not be difficult since you only need a pirated version of the dlc + one line of text in the creamapi file

Hello. They remain unverified and it is not an issue. Do not verify the integrity of the game files as it will disable the DLC-s. You are welcome brother
I'm trying to use this method with tech tree mods, either crashes or loads but doesn't let me open the research menu. So this I think means u cant have any tech tree modifying mods, just a heads up.
This "method" only enables DLC-s. I doubt it has anything to do with this method being wrong, it is (probably) a problem with either the mods not being compatible with DLC-s or an issue on your part

This tutorial is made primarily for legitimate versions of hoi 4 on steam and maybe epic games, if you have game on those platforms there is no reason for you to have older version
