Travel Ambalangoda 🇱🇰 | Sunandarama Buddhist Temple | Sea turtle conservation project Ahungalla

We started our travel to Ambalangoda from Colombo Fort Railway Station.At 6.55 am train left fort station.Around 9.30 am we arrived to Ambalangoda Railway Station.
Train Ticket : LKR 105
Firstly we walk around Ambalangoda Town and visited Sunandarama Maha Viharaya Temple.It is an ancient buddhist temple situated in Ambalangoda.It has many beautiful wall paintings,Ancient Buddha Statues and cultural statue /paintings.
Then we visited Sea turtle conservation project at Ahungalla.Easiest way to reach to Ahungalla from Ambalangoda is by public transport bus.Within 30mins -45 mins we arrived to Ahungalla.It is situated near Ahungalla police station.You can see a huge turtle shaped building.Entrance Ticket - LKR 100
