I'm from Watford and my group of friends are probably why they put up all the cctv back in the early to mid 2000's , we used to get free booster boxes every week 😅😉😉
Usually in Argos if you are fussed on which tin/ball you receive you can request to see which ones they have in stock & then will bring out the different designs that they have and you can choose between them which is always nice!
Also bro .. them mini tins with sv base n SWSH silver tempest in them I’m sure they broken batch as I was pulling some silly cards from silver tempest packs In them tins 🔥
omg hey cookiecutter! i didnt expect you to be here, i didnt know you were a pokemon fan!! you should make a youtube short abt any pokemon cards you have, and im guessing your from the uk? cool!!!!
We have very little options to get cards from stores in Ireland now so Smyths is usually my go to if it’s not THE MATTCULI WHATNOT SHOP. Tesco over here charges 12 euro for a single pack/one pack blister. Mini tins were like 19 euro (just two packs) 💀
I found some crown zenith tins in my local Morrisons. Thought they'd be great gifts at £22. Took them to the self service and they all scanned through as £6. Grabbed 5 of them 😂
The UK is shit when it comes to trying to find products. Argos, Sainsburys, ASDA, Smyths and B&M are the only major retailers thats seem to sell anything now and even then is really limited. Other than that its local cards stores (if you have any). I just try and buy online now but where the fun in that. Ive only recently got into Pokemon cards after being in the Soccer hobby for a long time, i wanted to try Pokemon for something new to enjoy but trying to find stuff isnt the best
Tesco recently sold themselves out basically and have entertainer as three main source of toys and in all tescos I have been in it’s just younger children’s toys. Tesco basically just slaughtered the Pokémon cards and Lego shelves
My experience with these, Tesco not a chance to find any pokemon at all, not like 2 years or so ago. Asda hit or miss, and then Sainsburys you're always going to find something because of argos.
@@Mattculli I agree, there’s an Argos in my Sainsbury’s as well so I think it’s just different times of the year they put more out in the toy section otherwise they’re mostly in Argos
It must depend on where you live, my Tesco has a fair bit & Sainsbury’s has nothing but has Argos so that’s a + but then Asda only has some behind the till & last time I checked they only had two options. Hopefully we’ll get more this year
Sometimes supermarkets keep Pokémon cards near the tills. Theft is massive in the UK people just rip boxes down isles take packs n leave. The Asda near me keeps the Pokémon cards in lock boxes then there are more near the counter that sells lottery tickets and cigarettes 😂
@@Mattculli Disgusting behaviour tbh. I thought it was kids but two months ago I seen a man and women. Presumably a couple. RIP boxes and take packs while their children looked at the toys. I’m not normally a snitch but I had to tell staff. Fully grown adults stealing cards. Disgusting behaviour if you ask me Matt. Btw loved the video man stay blessed 🫡✌🏼
Same around my area hertfordshire all pokenmon are on lockdown behind the cigarettes and loto counter normally a couple packs on show and if you ask they will pull whatever they have in the draws out to look at
My local asda has pokemon behind the cigarette counter they only have maybe 1 etb a couple boxes and solo cards one day I asked if they had anymore and the pulled a few extra bits from a couple draws so asda alway worth a look and also ask if they have any stock behind the counters
Found a few freshly restocked swsh tins in a morrisons the other day - giratina V, gardevoir V, inside had 2 Fusion Strike and 2 Lost Origin! Pretty solid! EDIT: I think the actual title was Hidden Potential tins.
My local co-op get multiple Surging Sparks booster packs in every week, but more than a couple of guys swoop in and buy everything on delivery day so there's no chance of picking up a couple of packs for your kids etc.
I love how this community ALWAYS pretends it's bothered about "the kids". We're all grown ass adults who get annoyed when we can't get packs to open. Just own it and stop hiding behind the pretence that it's for "the kids" 🤣🤣🤣🤣. You aren't sat raging on youtube because kids can't get packs haha
Keep in mind that Sainsbury's bought the Asda group from Walmart in 2018. Walmart only hass a 42% ownership of Asda now, so they might be losing Pokemon items eventually too!
This is incorrect. A merger between ASDA and Sainburys was blocked in 2019 and Walmart subsequently sold their majority, TDR Capital is the current owner
You should definitely be asking at the tabbaco counter a lot of shops have different pokemon packs or etbs behind the desk also some staff will just flob you off as they can't be bothered to actully help you or go look can't blame them they normaly pissed off and have targets ect to meet i wont tell you where but i managed 2 weeks in a supermarket and told them to stick the job i had never hated a job so much
I didn't know if you found this out or knew this, but Tesco started 3rd partying their toy selection out to another company, which, do actually have pokemon tcg product. But I'm pretty sure it was about 7 months ago when they started doing this.
I only rate Asda because when I was younger I got a 25 quid like 6 pack blaster thingy and now have a Pikachu EX which ungraded is worth like 60 and that was the main card
Tesco is decent if you have a club card they had tins In my local not long ago 5 pack tins for 12 with club card but they are very limited on stock I have found
My Asda had 4x 151 tins yesterday for £8 each! I took them all and pulled a 151 Charizard Ex (not the flying one) and Dragonair full art from the 8 packs. I honestly couldn't believe my luck finding them, I never got to open the set and the weekend market that has them sells them for £12 a pack 😮
Just found your channel but you have a sub, i found a steal in HnB last week. Had blister packs of Astral Radiance and Fusion strike for £5 i bought the lot. Pulled a Machamp V on my last pack so was well worth
I work night shifts in asda..2 months ago i got back into collecting pokemon cards.. i bought two packa of Paldea evolved, the ones with the promo card & coin.. i pulled the Magikarp & didnt realise what i had till i downloaded the collectr app 🤣
Can you do a video on your trusted websites/online stores you use for packs like 151 and pokemon GO that are trusted and 100 percent not re sealed scams? As this catches a lot of people out sadly! 😢
I would love to buy pokemon cards again but they are so dam expensive and most of the time you won’t hit anything good. I just buy the cards i want in japanese so they are much cheaper. The only time i get blessed with packs are when family gifts them on bdays/xmas etc

Northampton smyths toys store can be pretty good bro or maybe even your local smyths 😎👍🏼
TOY Barnus have good card sadly the uk does not have a lot of cards section like the American stores...wish we did but good we got some toy stores
Is that the Shoreham tesco
Shoreham teaco ,Portslade saisbury I think
Asda marina Brighton
Every UK shop I’ve been to has Pokémon cards behind a service desk or whatever because they’re so susceptible to theft
Yeah some do but not the ones around here

Firstly thank you for the shop shout out ❤️ yeah those prices in Ireland sound pretty brutal!
Supermarkets are terrible here for prices! Better off going to a toystore- Ken Blacks and Smyths aren't too bad!

That's my local Tesco, you must be local to us! They put up those awful entertainer boards a few weeks ago, so no more Pokémon deals anymore!

Devastated when i went into the massive tesco extra near me, and they have surrendered their toy section to entertainer and have 0 pokemon cards
Tesco / Holmbush shoreham . Sainsbury’s/Hove . Asda /Hollingbury 👍👍👍👍👍
Haha nailed it!!!
colder temperature can make the holo cards curve it normal
