Lol, you're right! Maybe they explains why the surroundings of Kyu Shiba Rikyu look like such a mess to me - it's like a poorly designed Cities Skylines map.
I'm afraid Dutch parks and gardens are super underwhelming! However, a video about Rotterdam, where I study, would be pretty cool. I'll see if I can tie that into any topic!
I'm not a huge planet coaster fan, so I only watch your videos every now and then, but I really really loved this video, so if you ever wanted to branch out and do a bit more irl gardens and architecture, for what it's worth, I would definitely watch them as this video was amazing! Maybe other subs of yours feel them same
Thank you for your comment! It really gives me the motivation to branch out into more unusual (for my channel, at least) content. I've got more footage of Japan, especially theme parks, so I may churn out some vlogs when I get to editing them over the next few weeks/months.
Look at this gaijin youtuber actually treating japanese culture with respect :P Beautiful video silv, just looking t the blend of greens and reds in some of the footage make me really want to go and visit them to see them.
I know this video is pretty old but I just watched it and it's amazing! I love that you didn't do a normal VLOG but instead only showed the views and talked over it. The pacing really good, too. And all the shots were great. I would definitely love to see more travel videos from you :)
Did you see Atys' Japanese Garden cooperating with the train in Cites:Skylines? It was so freakin beautiful, one of my favourite C:S builds out there. (4:25) th-cam.com/video/S2yETvWC79c/w-d-xo.html
I recognised a lot of the things in the gardens that are also present in your planet coaster creation. You definitely took a lot of inspiration from these.
Well, I meant Japanese as a style in garden design - Japan also has some Chinese, English and French gardens actually! But you're right - they're kind of Japanese gardens.
I'm aware, I'm kidding :P I grew up in a town that has a sister city in Japan, so there are a few japanese gardens spread through it. It's a very striking stylistic difference to the other parks.
Who else thought the thumbnail was from his Planet Coaster series?
I share your love for Japanese Gardens. Thank you from CT, USA for the lovely video!
The teal building at 3:15 kind of looks like those low texture city buildings all the way in the background of some game worlds. It looks so low res.
Lol, you're right! Maybe they explains why the surroundings of Kyu Shiba Rikyu look like such a mess to me - it's like a poorly designed Cities Skylines map.
I laughed at this comment a little too hard ... Can't even switch off those low-res nags when they hit us in real life either.
Loved it! If you are taking requests, can you do a similar video about on Dutch gardens/parks/architecture? :)
I'm afraid Dutch parks and gardens are super underwhelming! However, a video about Rotterdam, where I study, would be pretty cool. I'll see if I can tie that into any topic!
I live in the Netherlands lol, and its about finding the right sport. Some gardens are beautifull and some are not
Lol it looks looks so realistic I almost thought it was real life.
planco is magical ik
It is real... Right?
Really great shots and commentary :)
This was beautiful ❤

And thank you for the content! Your passion for theme parks and architecture are just as appealing as your talent for games so I can't wait!
Thank you for a lovely garden tour!!
Thanks, going to visit them this week
How is it possible that this was the video I 'needed' at this very moment? I wish more of us (myself included) saw the world this way.
🌞🌞 Exactly what I was looking for this morning thank you!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MOSS and the only place I see it is in Japanese Gardens & in the WOODS. Keep in mind for future videos 🌎🚴🎶
Wonderful video. Do you have more footage from your time in Japan? Id love to see it.
very enjoyable! thank you for posting this! it just might get me back into the game...want to make my own japanese garden...

Thank you so much! It means a lot, I might make more of this stuff occasionally in the future.

Hey, I am currently going around to every garden and I finally got the annual pass for all 9 yesterday. You are 100% right about them being amazing.
I recognised a lot of the things in the gardens that are also present in your planet coaster creation. You definitely took a lot of inspiration from these.
Damn I should definitely check those gardens out now that I have time, even though they won't be as pretty as they were during momiji
GearSecond15 you're in Japan right now, then?
Silvarret Well yeah, I'm here chilling at Rikkyo Global House lol
These look so cool
at 1:58, does that person trip a little and did you start laughing at them?
...I never actually noticed that they tripped. I just thought it was a really cute couple, and the shot of them overlooking the garden is pretty cool.
sooooo enjoyable
Did you visit Kiyosumi garden? This one's my favorite, I definitely recommend it
I did! Unfortunately I forgot my camera when I visited, but it's definitely a great garden. Love the rock paths.
beautiful!
Good to know you are a Shinkai Makoto fan!
Fuya Hanabi heck yeah! I've only seen 3 of his movies though, but they all lived up to the hype.
I want to go to japan real bad rn >.
i love Japan.
Great vid as always! :D
Btw what song is it in the begining?
No idea, sorry! Something random from Epidemicsound which is Japanese-ish, I'm afraid.
Ok, no problem. Heard it before on television, that's why im wondering. :D
Hah, never knew actual an TV program would get something from Epidemicsound. If you want, I can look up the name when I get back home!
Almost all Swedish TV program nowadays gets there music from there! xd
Would be really nice if u looked it up!
Remember me?
i am missing Japan gardens
Did u visit Fuji q highland?
of course!
Silvarret you should talk about it in a video!
I have some footage. I might finish that vlog someday :)
How long did you live in Japan?
Bacon Lord a little under half a year
this video rules
Hi @Silvarret - why did you live in Tokyo, were you a teacher?
Wish I were! No, it was just a university exchange program, so I was a student there.
new mod? looks so realistic!!!
Aren't all gardens in Tokyo japanese by definition?
Well, I meant Japanese as a style in garden design - Japan also has some Chinese, English and French gardens actually! But you're right - they're kind of Japanese gardens.
I'm aware, I'm kidding :P I grew up in a town that has a sister city in Japan, so there are a few japanese gardens spread through it. It's a very striking stylistic difference to the other parks.
damn, I am the most gullible person ever, lol - anyway, that sounds great! I wish there were accessible Japanese gardens in the Netherlands.
Thunder Dolphin 💪
May I use some of these Japanese Garden scenes as references for paintings? You have captured some very beautiful moments
Of course! I'd be honoured. And do feel free to send them my way!
@@Silvarret Thank you! I'm in a lull right now but I'll ask how to send them once I'm back on track
