Bro, love your banter, informative and useful, easy instruction on how to run things smoothly and earn some good coin. Very courteous indeed, for all the support you've shown me, the least I can do is share you out and hope we can drive traffic through you're channel. Love ya my bro
Hey Roe, great video. I appreciate the calculations so you can get an idea on how far to go with your scrap. I work a full-time job (40+ hrs) and scrap in my spare time. I love it. I honestly wish I could spend more time scrapping but I'm paying off my house so got to keep on the grind. Really looking forward to seeing your press build, I'm thinking of building something similar also. ( big fan of project shop fl ) Keep rolling out the vids cause I'll be watching before I hit the sack. Cheers from Gold Coast, Australia.
Soon I bought the wrong step down/ reducer for the press hydraulic line! Bandsaw might work decently. If ya have time and want the copper bad enough it's worth it my friend!
Nice video. Quite honestly, didn't think the numbers would work, but now I see $30+/hr...not bad!! You need one of those Chinese machines that you run them through and 2 seconds later, it comes out the other end all seperated!! LOL!!! Just got to put up probably $20-30K for the machine!!!
nice video, I've done that with copper a little bit before, it's a time to copper was pretty low in price probably worth it at the current prices look forward to seeing your press in action that's one of my projects but I'm from slowville😁👍 I used a bandsaw
You get enough to pile up. I've seen it on video! But would it be worth your time is the question ya know! I have plenty time between scrap pick ups at the moment my friend. Thanks for watching Mike and the share earlier!!!
Yeah that's cool, but what about the ones that have two, three or four rows in them. Not as easy as the single ones. That's what I would like to see. A single row is simple enough anyway you do it. Don't get me wrong it's a great way to do those. But the multiple rows are what you really need to show. If you get this comment I just want to say thanks. And keep it up
I use to do it like that I tried all the ways Since got a eBay plasma Cuter. Cut the line. Fast. An then. I get a sawzaw home made blade out of a circular saw blade. That’s kinda round Run it between tubes to smash aluminum fastest way so far.
Although I do see why you could do it like this, I just don’t have the space to store all the damn aluminum and make it worth something. Plus I don’t do this for a living, just a side hustle. Neat video.
Only do this in large quantities. If small amounts just take in clean with ends cut off. I rent this space to scrap in. The first 30-50 lbs pays for everything!
I'm getting 2.15 per lb on my acrs and I'm getting 2.25 on number 2 so for me its not worth the 10 cents unless its motors for bare bright cause thats at 2.75 a lb! But thank you for sharing
I got spammed by someone trying to act like u. Telling me to go to a website and that you make 11,099 dollars a month snd a bunch of other stuff. I did not click on there link. And also I met a guy today when I was filling out my propane tank and he told me that he watches your channel.

Definitely worth the time to strip and get that copper out great video smashed the 👍up
Thanks buddy have a great weekend!!!
Hey brother. Try buying a standing (vertical band saw) with a-metal blade. & run then thru it’s the same thing but a bit faster & less on your back
that was a really easy way to get that copper tubing :) thanks!
You bet buddy!
I use the angle grinder
2 cuts to make a V shape on each pipe then just pull it out that how I do it work well for me
That’s a nice trick you got there, I wonder how that would work to a bandsaw. Nice break down, when are we going to see that footpedal you bought? Lol

I can build a cheapo one outta tread mill rollers and some welding. I'm gonna try one day if I can make enough money to have some spare time hahahaha
The chines are always sending me links to their machines.
Thanks buddy👍🤟❤️
No probs!

Hey love the video. Do you have a way to extract copper from a quad-core radiator?
No Ron I don’t pull the copper out any more I’m getting a great price for them now!
Make that money .. and why not make the most that you can 👊🏻
It's time consuming, luckily I have the time hahhaha
@@RoeMantic little by little brother 👊🏻
I been using a grinder, maybe I should try it like this
Nice!! I do not get any of the big ones!!
Steering clear of the she said jokes, the little ones clean up good also. You get a bit of the rads my friend!

Still trying to build a bicycle pocket rigged up shady machine for that. Gonna need time and funds. Stay tuned 😉

Good video, is the copper from these coils #1 or #2 after you do this?
I get #1 some say its #2 because it had oil in it. Basically it's up to the buyer
Usually it's #1 unless it has brazing or soldering joints.
How are you brother 💞
awesome video love it u have excellent ways doin stuff bro 😎 love u videos thumbs up from the tommy gun 👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎😎
Thanks Mr. Tommy
welcome my bro 😎

It's well worth stripping the copper. It adds up fast
Never adds up fast enough friend lol keep Scrapping!
@@RoeMantic no lie there.

Wow 2.25 for number 2... Where are you.
2.15 LB for #2 you better go to a different yard because my yard is paying 3.55 LB for #2 so call other yards in your state or states near yours.
Staten Island
Those prices are way too low! You need to call around and find a better paying yard plz!
Thumbs UP
Awesome!
Too bad about breaking the bit, don't be de (pressed). 😁😁😁
Good one!
Nice
what happens when you take this in and they send u away cause all u gave them was a bunch of shavings???
They don't. The yard i go to is ok with how I completely process everything
A lot of the copper was leaning on something not on the scale. True weight might be 8 pounds.
Yeah I was tired and didn't notice. I'll do a total weight soon kinda a recap vid! Thanks for watching!!!!
Cut in on a worktable!! save your back!!

Yea that's a quick way of doing it but ur wasting ur aluminum don't belive it would be effective on small radiator from window AC
Living in a cold wet clime, we don’t see big. Rads like that, but I would definitely strip em,
Always good to go for the copper even if it's time consuming! It piles up prettiest LoL
@@RoeMantic we love coppah
Oh yeah!!!
