Phil you have a talent in flippin cars. Love to see more videos of you wrenching on beaters and bringing them back to life for a profit. See you soon...
Looks more aggressive however I suspect Installing these will increase rotational weight while increasing wind resistance reducing fuel mileage. When I work on my vehicles, I put cardboard down on the driveway to protect my impact wrench and torque wrench from scratches.
I wonder if a set of OEM rims from a 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis would fit on a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis. I’ve heard the bolt pattern is identical but the offset is not
Been driving my mercury 3 years now I love it its a boat for sure but cars aren't made like them anymore I'd wreck someone's car if they hit mine lmao solid af.
@@amberjohnson9004 i drive a 2000 town car with whitewalls such a classic looking boatmobile man lol only thing is that it chugs gas solution woukd be cylinder to but i still wouldent sell it man
Listen y'all I have a 98 ford crown Victoria police 🚨. I put 2003 grand Marquis wheels on it. It want move.. I think the back trying to but the front no sir. What to do 🥺
@@philbyrd2349 thanks guys I appreciate it. I just broke down and got some crown Vic 17 inch black Steele's. It was cheaper and more convenient than putting spacers on it.
I think I’m the same boat as you were at one point. I want to put rims from a 2008 Mercury onto my 2001 and was told the bolt pattern is the same but the clearance is not. I was told spacers would allow that to happen
I have 2" on all 4 corners on mine if you lower it you'll buckle the rear fender wells inside take it from experience you see in vic vids guys who did it plus me ...Also man that rear is off no way that rear panel pushed in that far you may need to do a 1.5" on that side or fix it because it looks weird js.
I will fly to NJ to buy a car from you bro I NEED a gmg 2004 or crown Vic Pretty please 🙏🏾 Just found ya channel!!!! I gotta show the home team love 🫡 Jersey girl ♥️🙏🏾💯🙏🏾♥️
I would not install oversized wheel and tires like that. It looks good but that would not be for me. It reduces the amount of clearance between the tire and the fenders.
Congratulations you are the first utuber that I have ever seen use a torque wrench. Don’t forget to retorque after 50 miles
Always gonna see me torque wheels

You definitely will
Thx for the straight forward video bruh I just got a crown Vic same platform and I’m planning on blacking it out with those same wheels
No prob at all and get to it man
I love the extenders it looks hot II gotta do that to mine I have a 2002 Mercury grand marquis awsome.
It’ll look nice
I just took my 2 inch spacers off today I get vibration at highway speeds mine were hub centric also
Ahh he had no vibrations

Good tech tip

Yes they will just the offsets gotta see if itll be sticking out or in
Was wondering why put spacers looked alright already
He wanted a better fitment
Definitely made the back end look fatter, I dig that! What size tires those wheels have?

Yes it gave it a nice fitment
In New Hampshire they'll pull you over for that.. Anything over a quarter inch... 🔥🔥👍
YEP, and they should pull people over for such a drastic change.
Anything over 1/4th Inch is too much for safety.
01 grand marquis LS will it look the same?
Yup, it'll look just as ridiculous on an '01.
Yes
Those are not hub centric spacers.. But how r they running so far??
There running good
Can you link the spacers?
A lot of these Chinese spacers can’t take the stresses and end up fracturing had it happen to me 4 times and said fuck it
What size spacer in front?
Looks clean
Thank you
What year is your Marquis
Its a 03 I believe
What electric impact wrench is that? Brand and model i mean
Milwaukee m18 fuel 1/2” impact
now for the body work !!
this channel fye bro keep it up
Thank you

Spacers
Check your clearances might have a smaller wheel size and making it touch something on the inside of the wheel

It did look weird he said but he ran with it
What are these wheels called and where did you get em
Those are factory mustang wheels
Mustang wheels from a junkyard watch the video where we went to get them
What inch
Damn just slammin shit 🙁
U still in jersey
Yessir

Thanks for the love frfr and I gotta get one first so keep watching
How safe is that ride like that? I wanted to try it but concerned about high speeds. If it would perform the same. Your thoughts?
He’s gone over a 100 plenty of times your good just make sure the wheels are torqued
If you do lower it, please don't go mad ricer and end up with Tyre rub. 😢
Bad idea all together with them 2" spacers .
We don’t need that type of look lol
Wouldn’t be I’ve seen worse haha
Be careful with them spacer I had one come off on me
@Iamsteve123 Me ebay
@Iamsteve123 Me yes I do need good ones
As long as there torqued your good
Lower it!!! I wanna lower my Vic too
If you lived in New England with the pot holes you would not want to lower anything.
It’s nice but the potholes in Jersey and Pennsylvania are bad
Save yourself the hassle of explaining to your insurance company and the police how your wheel ended up on someone’s windshield run proper fit wheels
Yeah, these don't do anything good for that car
@@johnnyedify Agreed

If everything is torqued to spec your good
Thats the same wheel spacers I have
There good ones too
Drop it 🔥
Need too
This is why you don't work on cars while smoking weed. 😅
lol why not?
@@D_Rell8 Actually I was just joking, but have you seen a Tweeker's car? Now thats some crazy shit.
No weed over here
Now I’ve seen plenty of those and it is crazy
