You should not feel safe going from secular Televison to secular religion. What I am saying, all biblical eschatology imposed on our day for a fulfillment in our future by bible teachers or pastors is false teaching. It leads to anxiety. It's dangerous to modern day, 1948 Israel and it will eventually lead Christians to suffer from PTSD.
2 Timothy 2:17-18
"Their teaching will spread like gangrene.
Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, who have departed from the truth.
They say that the resurrection has already taken place,
and they destroy the faith of some."
If early Christians had believed that the resurrection would involve fleshly bodies coming out of graves, as is taught today - coincident with the rapture, every eye beholding the physical Christ, and the burning planet, etc. - Hymenaeus and Philetus could have never convinced anyone that the resurrection had already happened.
The first century Christians must have believed in the type of resurrection that we as Preterist today describe - a resurrection into new bodies after death, leaving the old one behind. They must have also believed that life on earth would go on without material change for people living after the resurrection. So they did not believe that they would be transported from a decaying planet earth.
I turned secular trash off as well, almost 8 years ago now.
Yes Becky, I do too. Pastor Hibbs has a dynamic yet gentle way of conveying certainty in his beliefs and explains things simply so we can all understand. As I am old now, my brain cannot keep up with people who talk quickly, so these sermons are wonderful. God Bless.

I don’t believe everyone’s going to be Raptured as some do.
I don’t believe prosperity teachers will be. Nor will ‘Christians’ who are deliberately living sinful lives. Those living together &/or have children out of wedlock. False teachers & those who follow them all, who push their false teaching onto others, who are ignorant of His Word, so believe lies.
‘Christian’ Churches & their followers, who have become ‘woke’ & SJWs.
Even those who adamantly teach & believe in mid, or post, even no Rapture...All very high risk for being left behind.
Like God says, sooo much deception in these final days. So to be aware & stay sober minded, so as not to be deceived & taken by surprise, like a thief in the night....& be left behind. :/

@Son NeverSets The people you are describing are not believers. Many profess. But not all are His. Many sit in pews and have never come to repentance and faith in Him. So, yes, only born again believers per Scripture will be saved. His sheep know Him and He knows them.
@@jerilowehowell6015 I get what you’re saying. And realize they will probably be left behind as well. Despite actually believing Jesus is Our Risen Savior. They’ve never allowed His Holy Spirit to come alive in them. So are guided by the world & their own, personal takes & beliefs on God’s Holy, Inerrant Word. Unfortunately, I know too many & was one myself when I lived w/someone while a believer & attending services regularly & loving our Lord. Thankfully, He was finally able to reach me & I'm much more in tune w/Him now, than then.🕊
But God does tell us in Luke 21:36, to pray we are found worthy to escape. So, I don’t ever take that for granted & think, ‘yeah, I’m good to go’... There’s always a constant sanctification process here.
Aside from ‘Departe from Me....I never knew you’, that scripture in Luke is pretty terrifying in it’s own right.
Definitely Matt 7:23 is by far, the most terrifying words one could ever hear. :\

I wasn't born here nor grew up here . Im from the big city . So I am an outcast. Also I am not wanted because I tell them they are living in sin. Im not mean but I speak truth. I live way out in the country. Never had trouble making friends 25 years ago in the city. But im not like city ppl now. Im a Christian. I dont bite. 😢 its lonely.

I wish Pastors in my city weren't so lukewarm, such people pleasers. Their job is to be teaching and preparing us but they're half asleep. It's trulyhard to find a frank and zealous pastor at a physical building. I know many sincere hearted Christians feel the same way. We depend on these messages we don't get anywhere else.
You should go to your Pastor and ask him why. Also, warn him of what Gods word says to those who do not teach the full word of God. Ask him if he is less afraid of God than he is of numbers of bodies by teaching a watered down version of Gods word? You have nothing to lose for we are to warn the bride when they go astray but he has much to gain...souls to win, which is the great commission, as well as being right with the God he professes to love and serve. Have a few scriptures ready to back your counsel. Bible never talks about "numbers" of attendees and pastors who preach ALL the truth will find they can miraculously pay the bills! As Jack says, this is also a time of separating the sheeps and goats....those who profess to serve God FULLY and those who actually do and a true pastor has to come to terms with those truths, especially in these very last days. 1. There is no physical removal of the church from earth in our future.
2. The second coming of Christ was in the first century.
3. We are not living in the end times, much less, in the end of the end times.
4. The resurrection and final judgment were in the first century.
5. Modern-day, 1948 Israel, is not the Israel of the Bible or God's chosen, nor can they ever be.
6. The great tribulation mention in Matthew 24:21 was fulfilled in the first century. It's not in our future.
7. Satan was destroyed in the first century, at the end of the millennium, which was in 70 A.D.
8. All the parables Jesus taught were in fulfilled in the first century.
9. All biblical prophecy / eschatology has already been fulfilled.
10. One has to be born again by water and the Spirit to enter into the Kingdom. It is in Christ, it's Spiritual, not earthly.
11. Our biological death has nothing to do whatsoever with the sin of Adam. Adam lived 930 years old!
12. All that's left is faith working through love, serving one another in love, bringing Christ to a dead world of humanity.
13. The New Covenant age = The New Heavens and Earth where righteousness dwells; Christ is our righteousness by faith.
14. We are not living in the end times or last days post 70 A.D.
15. The salvation of Christ applied to sinners with repentance, is not an issue of our human tissue. 1 Peter 1:9
16. The Old Covenant age, Jewish world ended in 70 A.D. finding it's spiritual fulfillment in the New Covenant, in Christ.
17. Sons of God are no longer produced by human marriage, physical circumcision, but by faith and the circumcision of Christ.

19. Current events have nothing whatsoever to do with bible prophecy.
20. Fellowship with God has been restored. The bible is the history of redemption, not time.
21. God's New Testament economy is to make sinners Sons of God by faith in His Son. This enterprise has no end or last days.
22. All come to God through Jesus the Son, through faith and repentance in Christ, the mediator of the New Covenant, which has NO END.
23. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism... one body. John 3:3, 6 = resurrection applied.
24. The mature church stands as the base and pillar of the truth; male and female teach the word, the Gospel, equally from the pulpit.

It is this coming that John refers to in Revelation 1:7
"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all the kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen"
The specific mention of those that pierced him (the Romans and Jews) establishes the contemporary-historic context of the prophecies and negates the possibility of their reaching to our time or beyond.
Revelation closes and its punctuated throughout with the imminence of Christs kingdom and coming.

16:15; 22:6-7, 10, 12, 20, 22 hut hut hut HIKE!!!!!
The time set by Christ almost 40 years earlier would quickly overtake the ancient Jewish and Roman world.

Thank you for telling of the children. My little girl prayed and knew Jesus, but as her degenerative disease progressed she lost all skills and abilities. She was 16 BUT she was a child of about 2 in mental age. My sweet innocent child died a suffering death, I know she's with Jesus - she was so sweet, so childlike, she was innocent in all ways. She never got a chance, the disease hit her at age 8. BUT she loved me so much. I still fell that love today four years later. I just pray I get to heaven, that I turn from sin and repent. I miss my child so much. I miss my child so very very much.. She was so sweet.

Lot of people self medicate emotions,yes it is wrong, Never Give up on The holy Spirit to deliver and replace alcohol with God's word , it is hard to let go of self, give all of self to Jesus

May God bless you and help you through this struggle. I have a family member going through this. I recommend reading the bible, getting into a group, getting into a protestant church where there will be people who welcome you. For good measure, get some ginseng root from a local Asian grocery and make a tea from it to help distance the immediate craving from your mind and buffer the stress of withdrawal until God strengthens your spirit enough to handle it.
Lord, we lift Aaron up to you. You are the great I am, the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last. You understand the pain we go through when we suffer loss. We pray that Aaron would be strengthened in these last days to have clarity of mind and wisdom, to keep himself grounded in your Word and your truth; and that his body would be healed from any addiction to alcohol or any other substance that numbs the mind with an artificial escape from life's troubles. We pray that he would find comfort in the blessed hope that all believers have in your redemption and that Aaron would be able to keep his eyes on the hope that awaits us on the other side. Lord keep the enemy from attacking his mind and filling his thoughts with distractions that pull him away from your truth. Be glorified in everything we go through in this life. We pray that you would come quickly, for you are indeed our only hope. In Jesus name, Amen!

Good prayer.
1. There is no physical removal of the church from earth in our future.
2. The second coming of Christ was in the first century.
3. We are not living in the end times, much less, in the end of the end times.
4. The resurrection and final judgment were in the first century.
5. Modern-day, 1948 Israel, is not the Israel of the Bible or God's chosen, nor can they ever be.
6. The great tribulation mention in Matthew 24:21 was fulfilled in the first century. It's not in our future.
7. Satan was destroyed in the first century, at the end of the millennium, which was in 70 A.D.
8. All the parables Jesus taught were in fulfilled in the first century.
9. All biblical prophecy / eschatology has already been fulfilled.
10. One has to be born again by water and the Spirit to enter into the Kingdom. It is in Christ, it's Spiritual, not earthly.
11. Our biological death has nothing to do whatsoever with the sin of Adam. Adam lived 930 years old!
12. All that's left is faith working through love, serving one another in love, bringing Christ to a dead world of humanity.
13. The New Covenant age = The New Heavens and Earth where righteousness dwells; Christ is our righteousness by faith.
14. We are not living in the end times or last days post 70 A.D.
15. The salvation of Christ applied to sinners with repentance, is not an issue of our human tissue. 1 Peter 1:9
16. The Old Covenant age, Jewish world ended in 70 A.D. finding it's spiritual fulfillment in the New Covenant, in Christ.
17. Sons of God are no longer produced by human marriage, physical circumcision, but by faith and the circumcision of Christ.
18. The NC age has no end or last days. Isaiah 9:6-7, Ephesians 3:20-21
19. Current events have nothing whatsoever to do with bible prophecy.
20. Fellowship with God has been restored. The bible is the history of redemption, not time.
21. God's New Testament economy is to make sinners Sons of God by faith in His Son. This enterprise has no end or last days.
22. All come to God through Jesus the Son, through faith and repentance in Christ, the mediator of the New Covenant, which has NO END.
23. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism... one body. John 3:3, 6 = resurrection applied.
24. The mature church stands as the base and pillar of the truth; male and female teach the word, the Gospel, equally from the pulpit.
That second coming was in the first century. It's not in our future. Please, check what I'm saying:

Acts 1:11
Romans 13:11; 16:20,
1 Corinthians 7:29,
Galatians 5:5
Philippians 4:5

Revelation 1:1, 3, 7; 22:7, 10, 12, 20
Surely, the Inspired prophetic writers and Jesus did not get the century of the Parousia wrong.
They were not confused or lacked discernment or lied.
The first and second coming of Christ were in the first century. The Parousia was in the first century, according to these Scriptures, and many more. Start with these above.
I'm not making this stuff up. It's in your own Bible. Check it.
