Just love all the free and funky ways to go! So many options...freedom to create and go buck wild!! Thank you for giving us all the courage and freedom to create. No limits or rules....so beading sistas...bead on!!!!
The teardrop bead is actually close to 11x6 in size. So sorry for the changes but the bead I used was vintage (about 25 years old) so I didn't have the exact size . I measured it and it came out to 7/16 long by 1/4 inch wide. In mm that is 11.11 by 6.35 mm. Again, so sorry about the sizing mistake. I should have been more accurate!!!
Thank you so much. I really appreciate your kindness Patricia! I love these earrings. I wish I had done better at making the tutorial. You are so sweet 💕😊🙏
Terrific Alberta! let me know how it goes :) This video is not my best so you might want to look at "Flinging a Mini" which is a remake and much shorter and better LOL
These are beautiful! You are an excellent teacher and I finally "get it" on how to do this. Using the pin is genius. I have never understood how this was done and instead of going through the thread bridges, I was trying to put them through the bead. That never works out. ;) This will be my first try at multiple sizes and shapes, I look forward to it instead of dreading it. Thanks so much for the great vids and being so personable. You have nice hands and manicures. That matters to me especially after seeing so many garish or tacky nail polish jobs. That is just distracting. Fun is fun and I am all for it except when it comes to tutorials etc.
+Rian Shafer Thank you so much Rian! You are so kind! I'm glad you were able to get through this tutorial! My camera skills have much improved since this video!!! I love Brick Stitching around crystals and have a "How To" short tutorial for Brick stitching around a bead. I know this video got a ton of views but I am going to re-do this one so it is shorter and easier to follow. The pin idea came out of sheer frustration!!! Makes it so much easier :) The Tapestry ring and earrings are better examples at least of my camera skills lol!!! Thank you for the nice comment on my hands - they are what everyone sees during a tutorial (and very close up) so I think I should keep them well groomed! Thanks again
Those earrings are all so nice and classy looking. Love your color selections. I follow your colors exactly and will continue to do so until I am more familiar with the colors and textures, it saves me so much money, avoiding color mistakes. I see the designer resemblance, hope you do more of him. If you see where I can buy the crystal drop, please let me know. I made the spring fling bracelet and everyone loves it! So I made a few more. Thanks., Sara
Dear Stephanie, This design is beautiful, I love the color combination, and your explanation of everything is absolutely totally clear and easy to follow. I am looking forward to the next project. Thank you so much for sharing your talent, and taking all that time to make this tutorial. Regards, Milli.
Milli Denney Thank you so much Milli. I am so happy you like the earrings. i am rather new to videos and appreciate the feedback! I tend to go out of frame which I am working on so thanks for the kind words! More tuts coming next week. Work has been busy so I haven't been able to get to my beading table!
Hi Stephanie, just wanted to let you know, though this video is from 2015 and must already have the same comment, the golden beads have a space bigger in one side because there were 7 on one side and 8 on the other, no big deal. Beautiful work!!!
+lilredz56 Thank you so much! In this video I was not at my best at using the camera. I have since gotten a better camera and subsequent tutorials are much better camera wise!!! But thank you so much for the lovely comment. I so appreciate it :)
Hi Stephanie, soons as i saw these so Beautiful Earrings on your FB. page i fellin love whit these so I'm so happy you have made a tutorial for these Amazing Earrings,i really enjoy to watch this first part you gave great tips & like always you are excellent to teach it's very easy to follow so Thank You for this Fabulous video!
Thank you Jean! Try Artbeads and Aura Crystals and Beads. If you type in a google search for "Miyuki matte metallic silver 11/0 seed beads" many suppliers will come up so you have some choices as far a price and shipping times. The two mentioned are sites I use. Good luck - let me know how it goes :)
+David Marsh I'm glad you found the list Debbie! Noe I have a suggestion for you - Use the most recent version of this video! I remade this tutorial just a few days ago Its called Flinging a Mini. Its much easier to follow and just one video!!!
Stephanie I see above that you have a pendant with bicones, and a pair of earrings that are not oval but sort of diamond shape. Do you have a video that shows how to make those? I really like them.
+Paulette Hill Hi Paulette. Go to my playlists on my channel. I have each type of jewelry piece grouped together for easy access. I think you are referring to the Tapestry Earrings. Look under Earrings playlist. The pendant should be under Necklace videos 😊
hi dear Stephane. thank so much for your wonderful talent and beautiful work u are the best. Please tell me where can I buy the tila beads. Appreciate so much. Always peace and love w u and yours. mahin
what type of bronze, silver tone and black french hooks dont tarnish. I know you stated that we should use gold filled so is there a specific type of the above metals that I should be using? BTW Great video
+Quinn M Hi Quinn! I use mostly gold filled but have found stainless steel findings to look great and they don't tarnish. They are cheaper than sterling silver and look just as good. I use gunmetal for the black findings which might be plated brass but I haven't had problem with tarnishing. Even silver plated is fine. Brass findings that are coated so they don't tarnish are also a good alternative to gold filled. Thank for the kind words. This is one of my early tutorials and not so great from a camera angle point of view but I love the earring and brick stitch and wanted to share it. I get better as time goes on haha Happy New Year to you and yours and I look forward to beading with you in 2016!!!
I'm brand new to your site and love your tutorials. You are so easy to follow. I'm very much a beginner but you are a great teacher. Where did you find the pear shaped component for the spring fling ear rings? I usually shop Fire Mountain but couldn't find anything but drops. Nothing with a vertical hole.
Hello Barbara💜 You can use a Swarovski mini bead teardrop. I re-made this tutorial recently (called Flinging a Mini) Much better as this one was an early one 😀😳😁 You can buy a Swarovski mini on most bead websites including Firemountain I believe. Welcome to my channel 😃 and check out Facebook. Facebook.com/BronzeponyBeadedJewelry Lots of fun people and wonderful beaders☃☃🌷
Hi Stephanie, I wonder have you a tutorial for that black crystal bracelet you are showing us in this tutorial? I really love it, and would love to learn how to make it :)
Karina I don’t have a tutorial for that bracelet. It is a Right Angle Weave Bracelet using 4mm bicones. You can follow any RAW tutorial and use bicones. Go to my bracelet playlist and follow the City Lights Bracelet Right Angle Weave section. The first few clips. Use all 4mm bicones 🌻
I love the look of the brick stitch but with the video out of focus, I am having a hard time following the process. Just some constructive info. Your jewelry is gorgeous!
+Diane Hemplydi I'm so sorry about this video! I have since gotten a better camera and am learning to stay in frame a bit more haha!!! This was an early video that I will remake in the future! More recent tutorials are much better if you wish to take a look! Like a good wine I improve with age lol :)
+Bronzepony Beaded Jewelry I would LOVE to see a new video on this earring cause I just adore how it looks! I do subscribe to your channel and can't wait! In the meantime, I'll be looking for more designs to try. :)
HI Stephanie! thanks for the tutorial. I made a circular brick stitch around a pearl and was wondering how to turn it into a ring. Any suggestions? I suppose I could make a separate band and then attach them, but is there a way to begin a band from the brick stitch circle.
Hi Lesley😃 Thanks! Here is a link to my Tapestry ring which is a brick stitch ring th-cam.com/video/lxVH9-0cWRs/w-d-xo.html. You could make a separate peyote band and attach as well🌹 Hope this helps!
Gael Guerard You would do it the same way just don't add the headpin. the Blue Goldstone is surrounded by delica and seed beads - no crystals so you don't need a headpin to straighten things out. Hope that helps. I will make a short "how to" video on brick stitch around a round bead but it might take me a few days to get it on TH-cam (camera is acting up).
Bronzepony Beaded Jewelry Thanks! I thought it might be tricky since there are no corners or edges to work over and the roundness would cause slipping. It seems like a more difficult project. I look forward to seeing your video when you have the time. Sorry about the camera. I really enjoy your instructional videos and have watched and made several of your bracelets. I started the earring but it was a failure. I think I was too tired. Will definitely give it another try! Thanks again! Gael
When I saw the photo of this project in the TH-cam sidebar thumbnails, it showed the gold tear-drop-shaped earrings arranged so that they looked like half of a butterfly. I'm wondering if you would be interested in a future project that would show show to attach four of these (two wings on each side) to a center "body" to make a butterfly brooch. I think it would be a knock-out.
Maria - Hi Maria😃 Go to my Facebook page. There is a post pinned to the top of bead websites from all over the world! www.Facebook.com/BronzeponyBeadedJewelry

@@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry Of COURSE you can make it work. You're a beading goddess!! [Maybe a skinny toggle bar for the body? I dunno....]
I cannot find the Miyuki Matte Metallic Silver seed beads. can you give me some suggestions on which sites to look? Love your work!
I finally found them on eBay and bought 4 tubes! I love eBay!

could you use a larger drop I have 10x15?
You could but you will have to change the amounts of seed beads you use to fit around your bigger drop.
احسنت بسیار زیبا
voce fala muito, seja mais específica.
Minuto 16:02 A lo que vinieron. 😂
sorry found the beads sizes was not listening debbie
Are you looking for the materials list? It is under the video. There should be an arrow to press or a "show more" button right under the video🌸 Let me know if you can't find it😃
If you place your hand behind the earring when it wont focus it will then focus. Your camera is still trying to focus where it was before.
Thank you so much for the tip Linda! I have since gotten a new camera so focus issues are no longer a problem yay😀🌺🌷😃
Es muy demorona en explicar
I agree that the tutorial is great, but it took her 20 minutes to get to the tutorial and it seems that she is easily distracted from the subject matter. I hope that this is constructive criticism and not meant to be mean or destructive in any way.
This was a very old one. I was learning to do this so naturally I made mistakes. There are remakes of many and better more concise tutorials later.
