    Hello Stacey, I just found your channel and have been binge watching your videos. Thank you for being so clear and comprehensive with your instructions, it makes a world of difference. I’ve just started to delve into patch work, so I’m like a sponge absorbing all the information. I thought I detected a hint of an Australian accent, so ‘hello’ from Australia. I’m looking forward to future videos. Have a lovely weekend. 🧵 🪡 😊

      Credit, where credit is due Louise. Like I said over on Facebook "why didn't I think of that?". It was such a clever idea, and although it was my tutorial, you put two and two together to come up with the idea of doing hearts! 😊

      I had a thought - if you used a light interfacing instead of batting you could make a bunch of these in all hearts and different shapes and use them for bunting.

    • @staceyleecreative
      @staceyleecreative  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for the compliment! I'm glad to hear that the instructions were helpful and that the project was suitable for beginners. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to let me know.

    • @staceyleecreative
      @staceyleecreative  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a great idea! Using light interfacing instead of batting would make the hearts more stable and less puffy, which could be perfect for bunting. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, I really appreciate it 😊

    • @staceyleecreative

      Hi, I used regular batting, you could also use Insul-Bright. You can click on the links in mg description to go to my website with all the details 🤗

  • @katiemata8109
    @katiemata8109 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Hi Stacey, Thank you so much for your great tutorials!!! I have a question about this project - what can I do to prevent the fabric from bunching? The batting gets pulled ahead a little faster than the top layer so I end up having a little extra fabric on top by the time I sew all the way around the heart shape. What should I be doing to prevent this from happening? Thank you!

    Stacey, what was the other option on the batting. I think you said something on the lines of insulation. Also, I'm in need of new thread. I've used Aurifil forever. You have switched to Glide, how do you like it? Thank You

    • @staceyleecreative
      @staceyleecreative  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Ruth, it's Insul Bright batting, what we used in the double oven mitt amzn.to/3JVqXTf
      Juki Junkies recommend Glide thread, so I have been using it. I love it for general projects, and quilting the quilt, however undecided if it's the best for piecing your quilt. But I will say the price difference is huge, so definitely not going to break the bank to try Glide thread and see what you think. I think Auriful is over priced.
