  • * Good morning everyone~! A kind-hearted individual recorded my annotated videos and I was asked to reupload them to preserve the information contained within. I'm not back yet though, but except to see me upload something new before the end of the year.
    Original description below:*
It actually managed to sync for once! I'm so happy~! When I compare the differences between what happened in this video and the desync, it's actually quite weird what happened. For some reason in the desync the movement of Hibachi and the movement direction of the power-ups got seeded incorrectly, right after I had my 2nd death.
If you check 41:21 ( • Video ) right after I have my 2nd death you can see me dash towards the bottom left real quick and then beeline for Hibachi, the only reason why I would go to the bottom left is if there was a power-up, but in the desync it's simply not there. And not just that, Hibachi's movement was also not following it's original pattern so I ended up barely hitting him in the desync.
Now that it actually decided to work, I can now upload this with complete peace of mind! This is a good day.
    Stage 1: 00:07 - Boss: 01:48
    Stage 2: 02:47 - Boss: 04:59
    Stage 3: 05:56 - Boss: 08:44
    Stage 4: 10:05 - Boss: 13:25
    Stage 5: 14:56 - Boss: 19:05
    Stage 2-1: 21:09 - Boss: 22:47
    Stage 2-2: 23:27 - Boss: 25:37
    Stage 2-3: 26:31 - Boss: 28:59
    Stage 2-4: 30:21 - Boss: 33:39
    Stage 2-5: 35:01 - Boss: 39:06
    Hachi's 2nd form: 39:57
    TLB Hibachi: 40:28
1 death on 1st loop Hachi, 2 deaths on Hibachi and the 8 stages I wanted to chain are actually all full-chained. This run scratches my back in several nice ways. Though there's 1 lucky dodge in the run at the 2-4 boss that ticked me off somewhat, that left a nasty aftertaste in my mouth.
This is the best run I've ever had, I am extremely happy that all my practicing has paid off. The last couple months I've been going for hundreds and hundreds of runs, most of which were far from adequate by my standards. But I feel like this run is actually quite good and I am very content with it, though there is still room for improvement. That death on 1-5 Hachi set my score back by a very large amount, it shouldn't have happened and could've been avoided had I paid more attention, I should've practiced that rare pattern some more. The 2nd pattern he usually gives is much easier, but he decided to give me his harder one. Though I must say it was a very fair and clean kill, I much prefer losing points to this rather than get walled in the corner by the 3rd pattern. Hachi, please be nice to me next time.
That death cost me an exceptionally large amount of points. I went into the 2nd loop with around 45m more points than what my practice save-state has at the start of 2-1 (756m). By the time I reached the 2-2 boss I had the exact same score as my practice save-state has on the 2-2 boss (978m). By the time I reached Hachi, I was around 70m behind my save-state, despite following the exact same route I always do. So add up the value of the amount of extra points I went into the loop with and the amount of points I was behind my save-state at Hachi with, and then -10m points because of a mistake at the 2-1 boss, and you get 105m just for a single death. I remember calculating the amount of points I lost while I was playing by referencing the amount of points I had during practice save-states in my mind. It was so depressing seeing my score drop stage after stage. Oh well, at least I managed to break 1.8b anyways! Gotta focus on the good instead of the bad, right?
Let's see, some of you are probably curious how much time I've spent on the game thus far. If I remember right, my first 2-ALL took me around 400 hours, my 1.64b run took me 100 hours longer than that, and then there's this run. Right now I'm sitting at a fairly decent 865 hours in total. I spent less time playing DOJ after my 1.64b run and only started really picking up the pace again in March.
And now, I'm done playing this game seriously. 1.8b was the highest goal I set for this game and I managed to get higher than that by a small margin. With this I've also managed to beat China's nr.1 WL score which is also something I wanted to do. Man, I can't believe it, it's like a dream.
I guess I actually can stop, will stop. So yeah, from now on I'll be switching back to Ketsui for real. I have 3 goals for 2016 and one of them was a 1.8b DOJ 2-ALL, can you guess which goals remain?
Wouldn't this be a romantic moment to stop playing entirely? Right after the best I've ever done. after achieving a goal I've long sought to have, after putting in countless hours and practicing until my hearts content. But if there's one thing I've learned it's that if you're succeeding, then you're not shooting high enough.
    Rest now my friend.

Didn't realize you were reuploading your annotated runs until I heard it from someone. Good to see you're doing well.

The pattern of the last boss looked dodgeable compared to Danmaku Unlimited 3 true last boss because there is a phase that i really annoyed at and its hp is so damn long
