Zee/Hia Lian visual is really out of the world. Nunew/Kuea is just oozes with cuteness. Their chemistry is really amazing. This series is really made for them.
Not to toot my own horn, but as an actress myself watching this show and seeing the development between these characters i CALLED IT when i predicted that this scene HAD to be one of the last scenes shot. Now i read someones comment actually stating this infact was THE last scene and i yelled "I CALLED IT!" lol. its very apparent when you can see how easy it is for them to be relaxed w eachother and make all of it seem SO natural! Especially the fact that Kueng (NuNew) is giving quite a lot of tongue this scene, he doesen't in any other kissing scene. Maybe i'm way too observant but, it just makes so much sense now!
this scene / the last filming day was in April 2022 when in fact all the other episodes of Cutie Pie had mostly finished filming back by January 2022 and the series was just starting to air. Kuea is also in his Kirin outfit here, he might have channeled his inner strength and 'took more action/initiative' than usual. Plus, not to be delusional, but if rumors are true the actors started dating before this scene so Nunew might have been less reserved/more experienced while filming here. He was also visibly upset and teary in the behind-the-scenes, poor baby was probably sad about finishing the last filming day of Cutie Pie, his first ever series and not sure IF they would get to film any special episodes in the future.

the couch scene was the last clip to the Cutie Pie series and i remember the cast running to the couch after calling cut and everyone hugging each other especially Zee and Nunew embracing so long ang and Nunew crying in his arms cause the series shoot was over and so much thoughts probably in everyones heads that they might do different projects and not see each other everyday made everyone sad but ZEENUNEW stayed together and so happy they are like almost married and inseparable ,,,my beautiful eternal couple,,,ZEENUNEW FOREVER💚💚💚
You can definitely tell that this was the last scene they shot for the drama. I mean, when the two were kissing, you could tell that at some point they stopped acting and it became real. Like Kuea used his tongue and fought for dominance against Hia. At first, Hia did have the upper hand, but lost it because of Kuea’s handy work. (no pun intended) Plus, when Kuea had the upper hand, Hia’s eyes were slightly hooded and it was way too easy for Kuea to find the sweet spot on Hia’s neck.
Ep 8 is legendary, but i still come back to this sofa kiss scene all the time. I love how it started off being just lian wanting it, playfully persuading kuea to do it too. Lian giving kuea those face pecks. And how in the midst of it, you can see kuea slowly opening up and falling into lian's kisses. UGHH SO CUTE AND HOT AT THE SAME TIME

This is the first BL where I'm deeply invested in all the couples in the series, not just the main couple. These people literally made the best BL series of all time.

They show practical, naturalistic inclinations that are pure and innocent when starting devoted connections. While I like other BL series as well, to date this is the first one I am impressed with the most.

Zee performance in "WHY R U?" was quite good for newbie at that time but here, My God, he is like another person, truly magnificent and awesome. He improved by "Leaps and Bounds", literally his visual is killing us in every scene he ins. Then Nunew, very talented person, a newbie in acting but his songs are no joke at all, comparison to some KPoP idols. WOW this BL series is genuine a Treat for us, i literally had tears rolling when Zee pouring his heart at dinner scenes.

I agree I’m enjoying Zee more in this series than in Why R U, the skinship between Zee and Saint felt forced(and at times as a viewer made me uncomfortable), but it comes off rather natural with NuNew.

It has been obvious since the very beginning that LIan is a perfect boyfriend / husband material. Yes, extremely manipulative but at the same time decent, responsible, caring, and hard working. With a golden heart and a great sense of humor. The guy is just too good to be real.
He do help kearati problem that make kuea misunderstood but he do it for kuea sake Lian willingly do everything for his lover happiness. He's not a bad guy as anyone thought for me he's great and lovely boyfriend/husband lucky kuea have him in his life this series is great that we can't move on easily
"Perfect boyfriend" and "extremely manipulative" should not be used together.
As much as I love Zee as an actor, his character of Lian is very sloppily written, like a Wattpad's "tsundere boy who is cold and hurts his partner but it's okay because aww look he had a sad past and aww look he secretly loves his partner he's just bad at showing it so it's okay if he's manipulative and forceful and a liar because he LOVES his partner ok".
This cast had SO much potential, they're such amazing actors, it physically pains me to see that the script made them the characters of a cringe Wattpad story :/

For those complaining about how the stuck ring thing cuts the mood/flow of the moment, I think that is exactly the point. Because at first it seemed as if Lian insisted Nu and Nu just gave in and went with the flow... Once again, is about the consent and communication, Nu wanting to keep going after the ring thing interruption, proved he wanted it to happen too. This is honostly one of the best shows I watched. Zee's acting and charisma is off the chart. I am in awe wit Nunew's acting, he really delivers it. Hard to imagine he's a rookie actor. Max and Nat no words needed, they always makes their performance believeable. And all the other actors makes the story complete. So kudo's to you.
Now my only wish is that the delulu's keep their fantasies about Zee and Nunew to their self and just appreciate them as actors playing a role. If they can't then PLEASE keep the shipping to the characters Hia Lian and Nuea and Hia Yi and Kon and not the real persons behind the acting. And NO it doesn't mean your gay if you appear in a BL, it's a just work..
Usually I would agree that fans are doing too much. But Zee and NuNew are literally inviting said shipping. Like I've seen many other bl cps do fanservice and there is ZeeNuNew on their own plain and they seem to be enjoying it quite a lot.
