HOW TO BUILD NEUSCHWANSTEIN CASTLE [SPEED BUILD] - CONAN EXILES

Here is a build o Neuschwanstein castle, the famous 19th-century palace in southern germany. Unfortunately the shape of the original castle is not easy replicable, so I had to make a few compromises. The result is a about 80% accurate replica of the original castle. It's well suited as a base for large clans even if some of the towers are partially unaccessible due to the used building technique.

Been there once, MANY years ago. You've captured the essence of that beautiful building in a spectacular way. Kudos!

Heh, nice to see someone else build this castle. I did it once well over a decade ago in Minecraft, essentially to scale with fully usable rooms thanks to a floor plan I found online. For that build, like yours here, I made sacrifices in shape since the angles of this castle weren't reproduceable in squares.
Then back in 2019 I built this castle again in Conan Exiles for one of Funcom's build competitions with no mods. Again built to scale using the same floor plans I still had, plus lots of reference imagery to get all the window locations as accurate as possible. This time I kept the annoying angle in the back portion of the castle and kept the roundness of the towers as much as possible. As accurate of an interior and exterior as is really doable in the game. Everywhere inside the castle/towers in my build was fully walkable and usable.
That build won part of the competition and can be seen in one of the in-game paintings you can craft.

Well I would say both building systems have their advantages and disadvantages. But the most important thing is still your own creativity... Without creativity your builds will fail no matter in what game.
