oh so beautiful. I don't think I've seen anything as stunning and such a glorious process. if you ever come to UK please let me know I would love to take a course with you.
HAve you ever used a hot air gun? I do something similar but with acrylic inks and shellac. I think I need to try and incorporating encaustics to for my paintings. Super cool.
Hello, I love your video's your so clever, I am wondering if you can help me with the shellac, I have been struggling to get the lovely cells but with no luck, can you advise on the mixture with the flakes are you mixing it with alcohol of any particular percentage? Is there a period of time you leave the wax before you apply the shellac? Would much appreciate any help.
Hi Alicia! I love your work! Please what is the white substance that you pour just after the wax and before the shellac Alicia??? :) Thanks a lot, María
Good evening Mrs Tormey. I see you use encaustic in your work and I noticed how you manage to keep it very liquid to work with. Please do you use any product other than the basic encaustic recipe. I am in need of your more liquid recipe, could you help me. I am from Brasil. I live São Paulo.
Please, I am an artist from Morocco, and I would like to ask you about the name of the substance that you have dissolved and used in the form of viscous liquid..and thank you
She's an encaustic painter, so the substance she's dissolving is beeswax, heated and then combined with other pigments to give it colour. It's a very ancient technique, it preceeds oil painting.
Don't know whether its your method , the music, the art, your voice but the result is magical !!!
So stunning. What a great medium. Unlike anything I've ever seen. And each encaustic painter is different. Have fun in creating the beauty.
So wonderful really
Oh, so motivating to see you work! Thanks!!! Keep up the great work.

Hello,
What 's the green liquid you put on the wax before you burn it? Acrylic paint?
Thank you for your answer.
The way it's burning, I would say it's a pigmented shellac maybe.
Hello Alicia, congrats! ... what ingredients did you used?
glorious. Are you on Domestika?
Im an artist too. this video is very good. can you please share who made this video for you.
por que en ingles solamente -------me interesa su trabajo pero sin traduccion ...no puedo seguirla

Your artwork is beautiful. Could you please go into the process with more depth. I am beginning to experiment for an assignment. Thankyou.
Nice effects.....looks like pouring art or working with alcohol inks.
Doesn’t the wax melt the paintings in a heat climate in future?

Hi there do you have an online course?
Me interesa! Pero debería también estar en castellano
Please
The process seems to be more interesting than the result...
Look at fayum portraits of Egypt. That’s real encaustic work !
