Beautiful work! Thank you so much for this video! I’ve recently learned about encaustics, and happened to click on your video. I’m so happy I did. This looks so relaxing, and satisfying!
Thank you, great safety tips to prevent burns or deal with fire. I remember just learning stained glass and wiping the work surface with my arm. Bandaids ensued.
Thanks for this encaustic tutorial. Your pieces are wonderful! The colors of this piece ae gorgeous! I have loved every encaustic piece I've seen every since I first saw encaustic in a local gallery several years ago. I bought books about encaustic in anticipation of trying this fun medium - someday. Thank you for sharing! I subscribed.
Thanks for this helpful video. I'm here to mention ventilation, the heated wax is not good to breathe.
What a lovely demo ... thank you very much. I clean the sides of my panels by just standing the edge flat on my heated surface.

This is Beautiful!
What happens to the wax when the painting is hit by the sun or a warm atmosphere? Does it melt? I am curious 🧐
Should the finished pieces be displayed in a cool environment?
It doesn’t need to be cool - the only guideline is that encaustic pieces should not be hung in direct sunlight
Oh goodie a torch.
