Nice scar. Glad it healed up. A little memento from the old frame. I would make wedges from the tube stock to fill the openings then fish plate the sides.
Thanks! The fish plates are waiting for me when I get home from Easter Jeep Safari. I’ll be welding bumpers on it which will cap it and then doing permanent crossmembers. So it should be plenty. The wedges are a perfect thing to complete those sections though. Great idea.
Not the first time you dropped some jeep stuff on yourself. Last time it was an axle on your leg. Ow your arm. Let’s hope it’s not on your head next time.
Yea. The last two times were really dumb mistakes too. I have been working on vehicles for YEARS. And tbh, the last two times happen to be within a year of each other….but they are the only two times oddly enough.
