The label written on the film box said "Christmas 1969 Staines and Slough" so it looks like whoever took this home movie, footage had 2 Christmas dinners that year.

Notice how they were all squinting when the camera panned to them? My parents had an 8mm camera when I was a kid in the 1960s and it basically had a floodlight attached to the top for when you used it indoors. You can see the reflection of it in the television.

I also have some films where indoor lighting was all they had and unfortunately the quality without the extra lighting , is very poor.
