I remember they had to give Robin Hood a fibre glass arrow in the 1970's because it was too expensive to keep replacing the bronze one, but I never realized the bow and arrow were being pinched as far back as the 60's.
The Lady was my Aunt Rose who I was named after I met a few times but she passed a way a while ago all of Dad's side his Brothers & Sisters including my Dad have gone this was a original a movie clip put onto video then dvd
Trying to recognise the sequence after 1:29, I thought it was Turney st in the Meadows near the corner with the chip shop, opsite the historic tram. now bus depot, but careful examination and the sight lines and some of the buildings she walks past, dont work for that location.

no mobile phone had to transfer movie from Reel to video then dvd then transfer it to computer not easy

Yes everyone looked smart and blokes wore a suit, everyone went up to the castle including Arthur Seaton.
