Foxbody Custom Center Console -- Ford Mustang GT

In the process of this 1988 Ford Mustang GT full restoration project, I'm constantly exposed to opportunities to do new, custom work. Lately, I've been working on the interior and the brake system, predominantly, and I have a unique opportunity to make a fully custom center console.
It's another whole topic, but I'm completely redoing the brake system. I'm adding two proportioning valves, one for the front and one for the rear, Cadillac ATS Brembo front and rear calipers and I'm replacing the existing parking brake system with a hydraulic lock actuator. The latter will allow me to completely delete the parking brake mechanism that takes up a ton of interior space!
I'm fortunate enough to have not one, but two center consoles for my Foxbody. But they are different. One of them is original, OEM, and the other is an aftermarket option that has cup holders. The location of the cup holders in the aftermarket option is not ideal, because it gets in the way of your right arm reaching over to the shifter. It's my intention to move the cup holders over to my new found real estate where the parking lever used to be. Then I can install the parking brake hydraulic lock actuator where the ash tray used to be on the OEM center console.
I hope this creative venture works out or I'm just out two center consoles!
