- This was my first clear so I was winging it. MANY mistakes, limit sequence was all wrong (it never registered Mindblow, so I pressed it after, I had the wrong target, Breath of the Earth should not have been used)... But, the job was done. I will upload a cleaner version at some point, just for better reference of the plan there.
Key point (shoutout to @Janille_ and @danielcurtis8039 ): After sigil break, leave the left Tentacle to just sit there... this will ensure the boss will not activate its shields again and will never proceed to the next phase, so no Venom. We just tank Aeroga (properly, not how I was doing in the video) and spank, and we can kill before the upcoming AOE).
I mixed and matched equipment in many ways here, but this is the one that was "idiot-proof" for me. I am certain (as Janille's video indicates) this can be done with a much less optimised party.
PS: I am testing a "rush" build for this fight with Lucia's toy gun from the guild weapons. It literally increases flat 20% the stance charge bar per hit, so we have max stance before even the first AOE resolves. This may enable a summon-focused party to kill fast and skip the tanking, going straight to spanking. Once/if I have success, I will share.
That’s one of the hardest boss I’ve seen in the game hence why it’s b100. 😂
True... it took many hours of different setups to even figure out the mechanics.
Nice clear and really impressive that you Can kill it so fast haha you need half the Time I used in the fight 😂
@@Janille_ Thank you. I now need to play correctly and make a clean run. Since I notice I can speed run it, this is why I am now focusing on the Lucia build, to maybe get by with less tanky stuff and just go ham. If I have success I will update.
What I did not understand is why I still proc Vengeance. Can you clarify on that? Not that it matters, but just to understand what is happening there.

But I noticed that if I kill just After the first poison , After the stun sigil will start bypassing the vengeance phase probably because sigil takes priority (started by the game in the back as soon as poison start??) over vengeance but no way to confirm this it's just what I Noticed. Also I did go through one run where vengeance hit me
I Can survive as long as there is no adds --I died during this run because of 1 miss step during double -5 mdef + aoe phase-- also throwing lasers to me because my Aerith can't heal and buff mdef Quick enough otherwise
@@Janille_ I will try to replicate kill tentacle as soon as poison resolves, and also compare HP on boss (as many phases of bosses so far are HP reliant).
At any rate, I operate under the assumption Vengeance will trigger.
And when I have more data and a polished fight, I will share. :)
