It's great that the Seven Shades gets more screen time in the shorts, especially Eta since she appears less in the anime. I can definitely see Cid and his seven friends in Isekai Quartet.

Alpha is the leader of the seven shades, meanwhile Cid is the master of the Shadow Garden. I get it now. So, Cid is just a ghost member.
The one member in the club whose name is first on the list but the attendance is always 0.
He is the founder but they feel like he doesn't need them and they want to prove that they are worthy to be with him, but he is always ahead of them in every possible way (due to misunderstandings lol)
The secret supreme leader
They split off from him because he was slacking, and honestly still is. They follow his goal blindly, but do more than he ever did. I really question the direction of this anime some times.

@@jamespwns They only got mentioned. But they never appear on some battlefields. Or they haven't yet. Well, I can only imagine of how Zeta would fight. So far, knowing Delta's brute force, I bet Zeta is more agile and clean. And for Eta, maybe she would utilize tools that she has invented so far.

Yes. And Alpha asked Eta to explain. And you see the scene about explanation. Delta after getting enough of it, says she understood so that she can escape. Then Alpha asks her to explain it to Alpha since she "understood" it. Delta apologises. Alpha sighs and asks her why she came. Delta forgot why she even came in the first place. Then she asks what the artefact for. Alpha explains (this I'm not sure) that when their magic is sealed they can use it to defeat it. (From here i can understand). Delta then says she can just use fists if her magic is sealed and then that happens.
