Honestly miss the days when there were "tumbleweeds" in Blue Ridge. It's a shame it has changed so much. I know natives are heartbroken, and those that have passed on would be flipping in their graves if they could. Growth and change is not good for certain areas because then culture and history is stripped. Something, I dare to say, very few in this video know anything about.

That goes for all Georgia towns. Atlanta has ruined a lot of Georgia. It’s really sad (Georgia native here)

Absolutely true… The simple life is now a facade to progress.

@@ashtonlambert7673 Atlanta is good for the overall economy of the state and it has its place ,I'm just glad I don't have to live or work there

The year was 1989/1990 when litter was cleaned up by a gentleman named James Brandenburg, I believe and his 4 yr. old son, After six months of work and over 10 tons of litter removed, pride returned to the city limits of Blue Ridge. Great people live in and near Blue Ridge. I wonder if their drive-in is still open?

Same as it’s always been. If you have trees, you have downed power lines. It’s rare to be without power for more than 24 hours.
