I once made a folder named TRIADS . now your video is the only one in it . I am still far away to understand, but if, your teaching is sensationally good. so pleasantly quiet, really unbelievably good. thank you so much.
Thanks for sharing what are the 4 benefits of chord - triad [ R 3 5 n ... voicing ] playing to enhance your next level of guitar playing for a beginner guitarist.
Wow you[re pretty good at this. This helped get rid of a lot of confusion, I've been taking lessons for about a year and your video clarified the material presented.
Hi Jo, just downloaded your pdf and went thru the lesson, very helpful. Been studying triads for a little bit, I must say it seems a formidable task to get all this in my brain, I'll keep at it.
Hey Jeff 👋 thanks for this and for downloading the pdf. I hope it’s coming in useful. There’s a lot to get your head around in the beginning with this but it’s priceless info and has always come in useful for me. You’ll be glad you spent some time with it. Keep enjoying it 🎸😊
Interesting, I hadn’t quite thought of it like you explained it. It’s a better way to look at it than I had been taught, easier to understand. Ta very much!
Cheers! Glad it helped make sense. Out of interest, how were you taught to look at it? Interesting for me to hear how other people explain it. If you don’t mind! 🎸👍
@@jobywaterguitartuition all I was taught was about moving chords, not moving them around the neck as such. It was more simple but not really enough to satisfy my curiosity at the time so I investigated inversions which led me to different shaped triads for the same chords.
AAAAAH…YAY 🎉 I have been waiting excitedly for your TRIAD tutorial had I known how fantastic this would be, too excited?!? A lot of learning, I’m time I will succeed (no I’m not a toothless budgie) I will achieve, what a time fulfilling excellence you have created…Jo (if I may) Thanks and really appreciate your work very much…please 🙏 keep doing what you do 😎 TMG.
Hey 👋 😆 I’m really happy this lesson is something you’re interested in. Thanks so much for the very kind words! You’ll be rocking triads and n no time at all 👍👍🎸
@@jobywaterguitartuition Many thanks 🙏 I would like to live record from home but don’t know what equipment to buy?! ☹️ time will tell…thanks again 😎 TMG
@TommyMGrecianMusic that’s a really varied road re gear! Lots to decide on there. Have you watched some vids on what people use for home studios? There’s some great content out there. Also depends on your budget. You know how to use recording software too? It’s a fun journey building up a home studio 👍🎸
I’ve put the diagram the same way you will see it traditionally and the same way you will see tab. It’s better to get used to reading it this way as this is how it’s commonly shown in music.
I'm one of those guys who HATED "theory" in band back in school. (I play by ear! I was impatient and just "played-around" with chords and stuff and took the LONG way around to LEARN stuff!) ...i'm sorry, I sucked as a student! (I'm trying to pay attention NOW!)
There are a lot of people who learn like you and don’t get into theory. The thing that makes theory palatable is if you’re interested in it. If you’re not really interested in it it’s hard to find reasons or motivation to take it in. It’s definitely helpful in joining dots together and as part of a language but it’s doesn’t light a fire for everyone 🎸
