This is brutal!!! Wow man, I can't imagine how much effort you put on this one. High quality content indeed and it deserves the best from the algorithm. Wish you a lot of luck! 🖤
Love it Moon! Love the whole tone scale again in this track. I also like the choice of the articulations! What artic did you used on the strings? Keep it up my friend💜
Awesome!! 🔥🔥🔥 I really loved the section around 2:03! Phase 2 is very exciting as well! May I ask if you come up with the concepts for these bosses yourself? They're very cool (lk kinda want to play them hahaha)
thank you OrchRoom! I appreciate it. Yeah I usually come up with the concept in my head, and then compose for that scenario. Sometimes I have to change the concept if the song ends up sounding a bit different 💚I'm glad you like the lore ideas
Fair, it is also heavily inspired by FF soundtracks. Lore-wise, I was thinking more Elden Ring but you definitely have a point. Maybe I'll add that in the title next time it's the case. Thanks for listening! 💚
Pretty good vibes. In the first phase, it sounds like you just invaded narnia or some other high fantasy and youre the bad guy to them. The phase 2 sounds more desperate holding the key elements of phase 1 but i feel there is not enough of the signature soulslike dread . I feel blessed by the algorithm that it recommended to me this channel. I await your future content with great interest.
Thank you so much! This is probably one of the less dreadful tracks I've written, I agree. Phase 1 has more FF7 influence than souls. Elden Ring did move a bit away from that super dark sound though, so that's where I was coming from with the title, but you make a great point. I'm very glad the algo sent you here, I appreciate your comment and I will have more on the way soon 💚
I thought the music was well written, though (and I only mean this so at to provide positive and critical analysis) it does not capture what I would expect from a "Dragonfly Queen". The more legato strings and swelling brass sounds are more indictive of a butterfly, bird, or other winged creature. I would have hoped for sharp staccatos and quick tempo, which would better mimic the flight of a dragonfly. Something almost like Vivaldi's "Storm" (from the Four Seasons). Alternatively, you might have gone in a different direction and started with organs and choir since a dragonfly's wings are built like stained-glass windows, for the first or second phase (depending on how you imagined the fight of this OC Boss to go). Still well done!
I appreciate the critique. I will keep that level of detail in mind going forward when forming new lore scenarios. Perhaps a butterfly would have been more apt for this track as it is slow, mysterious, and alien. Thanks for listening 💚
Giving me major Grime vibes, especially the second phase.
Sounds fantastic!
@@maskedmenreiki thanks I appreciate that! 💚 still haven't gotten to play Grime yet but it's high on my list
My favourite track from you! 😍
really good work Moon, this is very impressive work
thanks I appreciate it! 💚
I can definitely hear the otherworldliness in the beginning. Immediately thought of Astel. Admiring your work as always, Moon!
@@DanF5264 I appreciate it Dan, I'm happy the Astel influence came through to your ears. Thanks for the kind words! 💚

thank you Alex! I used CSS, a mix of legato and the staccato/staccatissimo articulations throughout the track 💚

Sounds a tad more like Square Enix than From Software. Also gave me some Duelist of the Roses vibe.
