Had to buy tickets on Campus Corner a few hours before gametime. Paid out the ears. Had my head in the clouds, got scammed and bought old tickets. Learned a tough life lesson. Had to go find an ATM in the student union, get more cash, and buy more tickets (made sure to double check) and pay out the ears again. Most expensive OU game I've ever attended by a WIDE margin. Was worth every single penny.
I was at this game, the atmosphere was amazing. And I was at the Nebraska game before this one, when OU was up 28 - 0 in the first quarter, I can still remember listening to the end of Tech vs Texas game riding home.
Thank you so much Mr. Macintosh here in Vermont the only way to see or here about the Sooners is here on TH-cam and thankfully someone puts classic great moments in OU history on TH-cam
I was at this game. It was my senior year in HS and my buddy's Dad had season tickets every year. Dad couldn't make it because he was sick. Although I got to sit in the student section years later when I went to OU, no other game matched the atmosphere of this evening. We crushed them and the crowd never, ever let up even when we were leading by multiple touchdowns.
I was hoping you drop one more video before the season starts. I remember being at his game because my birthday was on this day. My mom surprised me with tickets.
wow I literally watched some highlights from this game right before this video dropped. Nice to see a better edited and higher quality version of it. Good work as always man
I was at this game as a kid. This is the game that got me truly invested in OU football. I remember we were in the south end zone right next to Tech fans and they were talking some shit. It was so fun to see the look on their face as we trounced them lol.
Gresham would’ve made a difference but sadly he got hurt before the season started 😞. If Bradford (Healthy) and Gresham played all game, the game would’ve been something like OU 38 BYU 14

RIP Austin Box, the one autograph i still have hanging up, next to Travis Lewis and Kenny Stills!
“Big block from the freshman” ❤
That crack back at 8:16 my GOODNESS

We really were spoiled watching demarco Murray he was so good at everything
What’s hard to believe is that we never fully appreciated him because he followed Adrian Peterson
Probably the single most dominant victory by any team over a top 5 ap poll team ever
Lamar Jackson vs Florida state
Georgia has entered the chat, but yea as far as regular season goes this one is up there.

Check out ESPN+. A TON of OU content is on there as of last week with a lot more coming! Get your fix through Mr. Macintosh AND there now.

I hope Oklahoma plays with this much intensity this year.
I’m hoping OUr defense looks like this. Welcome back BV!!
I'm confident it will!
I hope our crowd gets this intense this year
Smh

I miss hearing the crowd cheer the defense like this.
I miss when the fans screamed Sooner at the end of the national anthem
Disguised blitzes, tipped passes and coverage sacks...I almost forgot what those look like
@@PinkysBane We still do that though... have you been to a game in awhile? Lol
@@BradenWhite624 not since the KU game in 2012 had season tickets for the Peterson years

When we brought out House of Pain's "Jump Around" and the west-side 80-year-old geezers on row 5 got to be 20 again. What a day!
My first ever OU game. I didn’t think this kind of intensity existed at 5 years old😂
Sometimes I forget how good DeMarco Murray was
He was great. Cowboys used him hard. Never could be the long term NFL back
Man that was fun and nostalgic.

I would like to request this behavior from the fanbase at every night game
I would love to see more of these!
God I wish the stadium would get this loud again, too many fair weathered fans
Man I miss this OU defense.
Probably the best team OU fielded in the Bob Stoops era
LOVE THIS GAME!
JUMP AROUND!
We getting a recap for 2021?
With demarco Ou wins the natty
Damn that was a fun game. How bout that offensive line!
I don’t mean this in a bad way. But why is there not a good looking version of this game anywhere?
Thanks for uploading
No offense taken. The answer is because it was recorded in technology that existed in 2008 and not even remotely up to todays standards.
If Bradford would have just survived that BYU game in Arlington.
Gresham would’ve made a difference but sadly he got hurt before the season started 😞. If Bradford (Healthy) and Gresham played all game, the game would’ve been something like OU 38 BYU 14
Amazing how many touchdowns Demarco would have had if Chris brown wouldn’t have poached
WTH I don't remember Texas Tech ever being #2! It must've been short-lived.
Lasted One Week Lmao…went from #7 to #2 after beating Texas on the Crabtree Catch the week before
Believe me, they lined Lindsey, licking their chops, ready to roll into the national championship. We were sick of it.
BOOMER SOONER DNA!
Texas tech more like Texas dead 63-21
