  • Fishing the Aurora Australis although spectacular viewing, it seemed to shut the fish down from feeding.
There was allot of surface activity but not much pelagic action. Snapper was on the menu so we searched the gulf for some fish for the table.

Thanks for watching, I am chasing a dream of fishing and being on the water as a Saltwater fishing guide. I come with you on your boat and teach you the basics of lure fishing.
I bring all the gear for the day so you see what works and what you like. This helps you begin your lure fishing journey.
Trying to bring my idea to life, to teach someone to fish we feed their family for a lifetime. A legacy to leave behind.

Nice one. Goes to show the value in having a few weapons in your arsenal. I went out over the weekend and did really well - microjigs in 30m by Tiri on Saturday (12lb Snapper took a tiny tungsten jig) and then softbaits on Sunday drifting on the north of Whangaparaoa amongst the anchovies... couldn't get the microjigs to the bottom as they were being nabbed by yellowtail so a 5 inch shad was doing the damage! Subscribed!

Yeah mate, has been, we went for the adventure first and foremost though, seeing dolphins on the way out, and on the way in, was an awesome way to spend the day.
I hoped to show how much we switch and change lures through day too.
      Thanks for watching bro.
