  • Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! TH-cam's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we'll take an up close and personal, in depth look at the all new 2013 Ford Escape Titanium.
MSRP pricing for the Escape, before options, starts at:
    S: $22,470
    SE: $25,070
    SEL: $27,870
    Titanium: $30,370
During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth educational videos of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. Friends and I were in a 2012 Escape yesterday when we were hit by another car at high speed. The car was totaled, but we all survived with only bumps and bruises. It was scary, but amazing that all the tech packed into the Escape kept is safe-especially when Sync dialed 911 for us. I'm so happy I chose a 2013 Escape as my new car - I already thought that with all the features and style I made the right choice, now I know if I'm ever in accident, it will protect me. Thanks Ford!!

I may not know a lot about cars but the pathfinder saved my mother's life. She was in a major accident last year when a 18 wheeler ran into her plus another car. The car was crushed because it did spin around three times...still the cabin was untouched. People say that my mom should have been dead but the car saved her. She did not have any injuries. I love that SUV because my mom is still alive :)

This design of the Ford Escape is so much nicer than the previous generation. I rode in one when my mom and her ex boyfriend were together. It was the Ford Escape SE EcoBoost. Black with black interior. It was a rental car because he was getting his 2011 Ford F-250 Super Duty fixed. Very nice car and very quiet interior. I just wish they would get rid of black interior because it gets too hot in the summer. I used to be a Ford guy but not anymore. I'm a Chevrolet and GMC guy.

DaFordKid Films I also have a 2016 Ford Escape, except mine is the SE and the exterior color is Blue. Even though mine isn’t the Titanium, it’s still a nice car to drive, and the base sound system (the one that isn’t by Sony) sounds great. Mine has the new Sync 3 radio system that yours has as well. I like that even in the SE trim, you can choose either the base radio system or the Sync 3 System.

I've had positive reviews with both experiences. I currently own two cars, one was bought new 4 years ago, no problems so far (as expected from a new car) and I've been using a used car for the last 3 years, very few problems. It's just that I think it's a little pointless to compare new vs used, people usually don't cross shop that way, they really know what they want, especially when looking for a new car. But you can also get pretty big deals on used cars.

We still get the old one in my country. Titanium trim level (the 2nd one) starts at $34k. Titanium Individual (highest trim level, but probably not fully loaded) starts at $38,5k 2.0l tdci 140hp FWD 6 speed manual. Almost no one can afford it, and the run costs are extremely high (especially taxes).

I've watched some of your other video's and I like how you really went into the technology on this video and showed all the features of the Ford SYNC system and all the other technology! You should continue to do that with other car reviews I think all the technology features is a big part in the decision making on which car to buy now days. Great video keep up the good work!

The major drawback I've found in the CX-5 so far has been the underpowered engine. But I like the fact it's still available with a manual transmision (I own a CUV with a 5 spd stick) and the cheap entry price. However you'd still pay over 30k U$ dollars if you check most options and you'll be stuck with the same base engine (unlike the Escape) and won't have the same available options as the Ford product. I'm with you about the unions. It's a relief we don't have those car unions in Mexico

You have a point, you can save a lot getting a used car as long as you get a reliable not abused unit. The Escape isn't 41k, a fully equipped Escape Titanium 4WD (leather, navigation, power liftgate, panoramic sunroof, rearview camera and auto park) is 37k. Still not cheap by any means but you also get more features than the competition. Ditching those exclusive options will drive the price down right on par with the competition

  • @AnthonyGuidetti
    @AnthonyGuidetti 11 ปีที่แล้ว

What people don't get about the price is this car is it tends to the market Mercury had as well as being the budget car brand. You can get a bare bones Escape. It's just Ford is offering a lot of options you can add on.

These new Escapes are getting quite popular. I'm beginning to noticed them as notable standouts from the cookie-cutter Rav4s & CR-Vs.
Though MFT's bad reputation, that questionable 6F35 gearbox & leaky 1.6T are still negative aspects Ford still needs to address. A good car, but hampered by minor glitches.

and that leaky 1.6 will be more than leaky with 60 k miles on it. love ford , but they are screwing up by trying to be more clever. older fusions flew off the lot , not now.... focus fiesta etc. they have 5 years at least of de bugging and rethinking tinymotorturbos etc. tinymotorturbo in a fiesta maybe. but a 1.5 1.5 l turbo in escape and fusion. nah . id rather eat my pants

I like how Ford is experimenting with small turbo motors. (Look at how well received the Fusion, Focus & F-150 with the Ecoboost motors are). But Ford isn't like Mercedes who spends a lot of time to ensuring the new technologies work in the real world.
Give them time and I'm sure Ford will fix the issues. As of now, I wouldn't really purchase a Ford, but leasing one would be a smart idea.

Usually, if I hate the way a car looks at first, it eventually grows on me. This one, not so much. I love Ford and the Escape, but, no matter how good the reviews say it is, I'll still take my mom's '06 Escape over this.

Trunk space seems to have become smaller than the previous generation, which had small enough trunk space the way it was.

But if you compare the Mazda CX-5 which is all new as well, the Escape loses. Yes, there is also a lot of union issues in Canada now regarding the D3. They just made a new deal but that soured the mood for a lot of Canadians who isn't in unions and their attitude towards getting a car made by unions. Toyota and Honda have plants as well and there is no squabble with the workers there.

I wonder if this will be that expensive in the UK when its released as the Kuga. The last Kuga was quite reasonably priced.

@DownForWhateverCrew +1 for this question! I never realized that. What do you say Kyle? How about a ford raptor in depth review or the luxury ram Laramie longhorn? Anyone else!?
