Tasks vs Subtasks in Jira

Agile has a definition for how tasks in the Agile world work, but Atlassian uses tasks very differently. In fact, whenever you are thinking of an Agile task, you are really talking about a subtask in Jira. This confuses a lot of folks, so this video was created to help you understand the difference between the two issue types. Tasks in Jira behave exactly like stories. So, if your intent is to capture how to deliver the story, then instead of using a task, you want to use a subtask.
