McKenzie is precious! I can see her having her own videos some day or being your partner. I always enjoy doing crafts with my grand and great grandkids. The paper is very pretty.
Ideas for improving your process: smooth out the shaving foam first, so it covers the entire surface, not just the middle. Using a *thinned* paint, the inks, or food coloring lets the color soak into the foam and the foam soaks the color into your paper. Moving the color through the foam helps cover the entire page instead of just the middle. Check out traditional marbling papers for color combinations and ways to move the color into patterns.
I really enjoyed this activity on the outcome. Thank you for including McKenzie it’s so nice to include your granddaughter do you know many of us most likely have grandchildren. Looks like so much fun. What a cool craft to do with the grands. We did something like this at the library with toddlers. They used their hands to mix the paint around and put the paper in. We didn’t have globs on the paper and did not have to scrape the shaving cream off. We did use Tempera paint and it great. You have a lovely grand-daughter. Thank you. Oh what blessings the two of you have. And didn’t those papers turn out pretty?! Each one different. The last one is quite something. Sure looked a mess at first, didn’t it?!
