This week I decided to put weed / edibles & weed pills down. I've been using for more then half my life. I am 32 years of age. I am on Day 5. Please God give me the strength I need to get through life without it

Allahu Akbar. I’m currently dealing with my mother who is a major drug addict. I fell back for many years from her but the more I’m growing in my Dean I realized I’m obligated to be there for her. I ask every brother and sister who sees this to send the duas up for her. She’s currently in a recovery house. May Allah SWT make it easy

For many years 10+, I’ve abused cough syrup and pills and now it is Ramadan alhamdulilah, I’ve stopped and I want to stop even after Ramadan. May Allah make this battle easy for me and may Allah remove this addiction from me, Ameen
I used to be such a strong ambitious and admirable young man. Got lost in haram and now I’m nothing but a shell of a person. 22 but feels like I’m an old sickly man. I have lost every aspect of me that made me proud of myself. I have become pitiful and weak. It was fun at the start and next thing you know a couple years have gone by and you’ve done nothing but kill your source of life . Please brothers and sisters, if you are thinking of trying drugs wallah it is not worth it. It’s all fun till your soul is no longer alive , just surviving. Your drug friends that you think are your brothers or sisters from another mother will sell you out in an instance. Feds done a sweep and all my “brothers” that I’ve known for years upon years sold me out. The one I’ve known for the least amount of time was 6-7 years. I knew them before the drugs but they just change everything. I pray to Allah that all of you stay away from these useless things. Persevere your soul or it’ll end up like mine.
Brother inshallah u will be okay. Ur still very young and u can gain ur strength back. Ive been smoking weed for over 10 years and Ive been struggling to completely stop for a few months now n even tho im not there ive been saying major progress.
1. You must have intention. If u just wait for ur life to get better brother it never will. The intention must be there.
2. You must have a plan because humans are naturally goal orientated. Set a goal that u wanna stop and create steps to get there.
3. Understand it will be a long road. You will relapse, maybe even a few times. You will have highs and lows. You will be scared and u will feel terrible withdrawls. But u must keep fighting.
Most important thing brother is please please please find someone u can speak to. Go to ur imaam go to ur family. Anybody brother. Once u walk down this path allah will make it easier for u.
May allah grant u the strength to persevere through this.
I know older than u dubbel and 3 times elder u are young your body is more endurable in sha Allah just keep praying
Its unfortunate that so many people deeply addicted to drugs had very traumatic childhood just like this brother. You cannot blame anyone for your addictions or mistakes but we need to treat our children and families and spouses better. The home is where everything begins. May allah make it easy for all of us
i felt satan with every high, the term "psychosis" is really the whispers of satan and i lived it through every high and i could never give it up

He is so right. I kept saying to myself after smoking Cannabis, it must be haram. Because i was having Evil/Haram thoughts all time. But still i kept doing it, till now i had very bad Trip where i almost died. Please everyone stay away from drugs even Cigrette. May Allah give me strength to leave cigrette now. Ameen
as someone who quit smoking cigarettes, do you know what is very disturbing being in masjid and someone just walk pass you and and smells like cigarettes. you dont wanna stink innit ? tell me one plausible reason why you smoke ? there is no answer. Be smart stop smoking right now

There nothing but truth in this - I know people that been and still going through trying to beat the drug addiction may Allah give them all the strength to overcome their shortcomings and demons

I had goose bumps listening to this brother. So sad about abusive childhood and the destructive lifestyle that follows. Alhamdulillah...Allah guided him back. May Allah protect him and all of us from the cursed shaitaan. May Allah help him with his work for the people who need help.

Salam , can you plz elaborate on this? Like how does one invite shaitaan from doing intoxications? Like can a person become possessed? Or do you and the brother in the video mean once consumed it leads you to doing more sinful things because you consumed intoxicants? Jazakallah khair.

I’m going through the same addiction with crack I stopped now very hard but I need allah I have to go back to allah to beat this addiction I won’t loose this whole video made me cry so much him talking about shaytan invited when using it gave me chills crying knowing this makes sense no I pray and pray and will continue till I fight this anyone else going through drug addiction never give up we got this Allah loves us ❤️
