Nice wheel. I’ve bought one for my wife, then tried to ride it a couple of miles. And I like it much more then my old 16 inch Ninebot One E+ absolutely! Will buy a Kingsong for myself in the near future. Thanks for good video. Like it!
Thanks for the great review. I have a Kingsong KS 14 C that I ride in Cape Town. It is a lovely wheel. I bought it secondhand from a friend who upgraded to the Kingsong KS 16 D (I think it is the 16 D). However, what makes the 14 great is that it is so portable and light. It is much easier to get into the trunk of your car, or on and off a bus.
I've had my 14 s since June. And I love it I ride it all the time. I ride it to work everyday that's a half mile away. And put it in a basket in front of the passenger seat in my truck. It's pretty sweet and I have a 16s King so that I love. And my 8-year-old grandson rides them with me too they just go and go and go
It's me again now it's January 16 202 3. We love our King song unicycles we have ridden them in the rain several times. Been riding mine to work all winter long
now that the price of the v8 has decreased (with coupon code) to right around the price of the ks14d, do you still think the ks14d is a better value? I value comfort and ride quality more than speed and see myself on sidewalks a decent chunk of time...also value reliability and ease of maintenance
Hi. Thanks so much for the information. I am actually interested in acquiring this wheel. I live in the Caribbean and I imported a unicycle and people are going crazy for it and I'm looking for an opportunity to be an agent for importation of the unicycles in my Island. Is there anyway I can find out about how to acquire the unicycles from the manufacturer? That's the first question... Long question :-) the second question is do they have a good support or service or warranty on these wheels? Thanks. Looking forward to your response
I juat got this wheel today and its tough to learn man. Its the wobbles and the pivoting and turning im.having trouble with. I break out in sweat just trying to learn this.
Man you do such a great job, I would like to see your review on ninebot S2 as you did s1, but S2 is kinda like KS14D a bit slower but much cheaper, brand new in my place goes for 450usd and I would like to buy one but im not sure. Maybe we can expect something about S2, would be a great review :)
@TheTopher, I hate you, you made a great of V8 and I was really impressed about it and ordered one, and after few days I saw this review, where you say that this wheel is way better then V8... I hate you :D
Pisarenco Gheorghe I have a V8 too, I think the biggest problem with it are the pedals - I’ve ordered larger pedals from ewheels, can’t wait for them to arrive!! - I think 14” is great on better quality pavement, but here in London UK all the roads/pavements are terrible, I also love taking my V8 off road so while this 14S has advantages, I dont think it fully replaces the V8.
Best and latest 14 inch model to go for is the 'KS-14s 840wh battery' (that's 70 km/43 mile) range. And it's basically thee Best 14 inch Electric Unicycle on the market, period! You won't have any regrets. They have 680wh capacity too, but might as well go for the 840wh model in case you may ever need the extra range.
Is 43 mile "perfect conditions" or actual usage? I'm looking at getting the KS14S (as of November 2022). I'm hoping to be able to get 23 miles. Anything above this is just gravy.
Oh and one tip, there's no need to contradict what people think about the physicality of riding one. They'll say it must require a lot of leg strength or it's good exercise for your core muscles - just go along with it since it's unlikely that they will actually ride one. Every wheel is different and you'll learn to appreciate the differences when you switch between them later. A wheel that feels unresponsive is typically larger and heavier and you can learn to ride it better later and it will impress you then with its stability. Also as you get even better the peculiarities or challenges riding each wheel will just become inconsequential and non-issues because you'll become comfortable riding anything.
❤🙏👍💥😀Excellent review... ONE QUESTION: What about when you get to the place? Is there some recommended backpack you can use it to carry around the Mono? In my case, I'd like to use it to go to make some local movies, where there's no place I can keep it, so I'd need to carry along with me while filming... I thought of a backpack to put it... Maybe there's one particularly proper to it
I’ve always feared these but I see them a lot in NYC. I have two Segways and I’m good on it, so to hear you say it’s like a Segway functionally makes me less afraid to try one.
Now that Kingsong fixed their software problem i side with this review. It is a very good wheel once the unlock takes place. Re-considered Thumbs up. Good presentation as well. Thank you
can you lock the wheel with your phone? also do you carry a tool with you that shows you how steep a road is in case you find a road that is more than 30 degrees and it blows your motor? Im kind of joking but not really. how do you over come this problemm?
I realize this video is 4 years old but do you still ride the KS14D? The KS14S (it's the KS14D only with a bigger battery) and wanted to know what kind of range you saw with the KS14D? I'm curious how accurate the manufacturers claim is to real-life expectations.
I just got a 14d and did first range test yesterday. I got about 16 miles and the battery is at around 25%. Started limiting my speed to 10mph at mile 14. My tracking app did say I had 1200 feet of elevation gain so that probably drained it more. I think on flat ground you can easily get 15+ miles with full capability
@@TheRoadTaken no problem. Try to convince her. It's really fun and practical. 14d is good enough for most use cases. Don't see myself riding 40 miles. If I do ill take my motorcycle or big euc
Question: I have an inmotion and the only thing that bothers me is when I climb a slip road after some time the battery warms a lot and it stops with an alert to let it cool. Does this one also do that?
Hi buddy, It may be late since you will have probably changed wheel, but I'm afraid that that issue has to do with motor power, therefore the amount of power the EUC can handle before getting damaged. So basically, I guess that the motor can't make it to keep pace as you want, so at the end it overheats and cuts off.
You said when you brake hard when battery is at 100%, the wheel says "too much voltage"? Does this mean the wheel has regenerative braking like with electric cars?
I'll get kingsong soon.first I'm learning how to ride on the ninebots2,she is all scratch up hehe,oh well I can do my left turn gd,but not my right somehow im having to much problems wit it,and I can't look up and need2 look dwn I'm not gd wit bumps yet thats y,once I'm all that like u,I'll get kingsong
Dude you are the reason why I want to buy one of these wheels, the enthusiasm in your films is inspiring. Now there have been development lately, we are getting closer to 2020 (goodbýe Trump year.) would you still recommend this now we have newer products? Is bigger = safer? Thx man for very inspiring wheel films it clearly shows you know what you are talking about. The "happy wheel vibe" is very inspiring. I have a broken leg so I need an umbrella to begin with, I use a walker actually.
I was really looking at the V8 cuz they have a trade-in deal and I have an old Ninebot...but a V8 with the trade-in is $700 and the KS is $770, I'd rather have the 16" tire, and the V8 has a slightly bigger battery...
If you're going to be riding longer distances the V8 would be a good bet, one thing to note is that the KS14D gradually starts to reduce cruising speed below 40% battery.

I've got a onewheel and recently started looking into EUC's. My 14D is coming Monday!
How much

You make it look so easy to ride (and stay on) this thing.
Looks like fun.
Great review; liked the review within the review. Just received the 14D today (black), charging it up now.
Cool!
Just wanted to mention that you do not need to turn the wheel off to pick it up, the sensor works well. 😊👍
Lol, love the interruption! It happens ALLLL the time as an owner!
I love my Kingsong 14S. Use it to go to office and cruise around
How does it perform on bad broken city roads?
It's me again now it's January 16 202 3. We love our King song unicycles we have ridden them in the rain several times. Been riding mine to work all winter long
Damn man, first the BRZ and now this. I did not think I'd get a review from a guy like you for a last mile e device.
I love the couple. Excellent review.

Great video. Everything you said I can only confirm. Riding the 14D close to a year now.
The couple was the highlight of the video.

I wonder what the potential best value EUC is now in 2020

found your youtube because I recently went to Paris as well and saw these all over! and got interested in them (:
so awesome to find your channel! lol

Buy one yet?
I'm thinking of getting kingsong 14s.its got alittle more owr to it bigger batterys

Do you think the 14s is worth the extra price? Thinking of getting my first euc, my office is like a mile away, and this would be great.s
I just got the 14s and the pick up is really fast. I'm not sure how it compares to the 14d. But I love it.
I’ve always feared these but I see them a lot in NYC. I have two Segways and I’m good on it, so to hear you say it’s like a Segway functionally makes me less afraid to try one.
Do they tilt back alot?
Another great review!
Camera quality is great. The wheel looks like it can fit in a backpack.
I feel like for me (a short person and 115lbs) the 14" wheel isn't such a bad downside. Anyone else agree?
14D or V5F ?
Great value for sure. But, you also get what u pay for. Pay more, then you get more wheel. Great vid, thank u
Now that Kingsong fixed their software problem i side with this review. It is a very good wheel once the unlock takes place. Re-considered Thumbs up.
Good presentation as well. Thank you
what do you think about the Begode MTEN4?
Do you think it's a great wheel for a beginner to learn on
I have those exact pair of shoes. I love them.
Question! V5f, KS14D or 250 euros more (5km/h more) and get the KS14M? 😅
HOW TO INFLATE THE RUTOTA PRESSURE ON KINGSONG KS14D
What about speed bumps. Assuming you can go over them when not full speed?
3:12 its a shame move, not to drive directly trough steps
can you lock the wheel with your phone? also do you carry a tool with you that shows you how steep a road is in case you find a road that is more than 30 degrees and it blows your motor? Im kind of joking but not really. how do you over come this problemm?

KS14S or KS16S?
Hi, is tubeless tire compatible?
You've convinced me, I'm buying one
So why in Amazon says that the maximal range is from 40 Km, and the reality range is 15-20 Km
What is the better choice between KS-14D and V5F?
I am 4 10 Can you adjust the seat up to 5 ft?
Do you think that you'll ever try a Gotway unicycle? I have a Gotway ACMs+ and in my opinion, it was totally worth it (30mph and 60 miles range 😲).
Daniel Martynovich how much was it?
Just ordered a KS 14D from ewheels through your affiliate link. Make sure you get paid!
Hey, can you test going down the stairs? Or does it get damaged?
I want one!!!
I cant seem to balance or turn well on this thing. Its my first wheel as well
have you taken it off any sweet jumps
you look very cool and good video!
Could you please tell your helmet vendor and model ?

Yes, it does
I think you may have sold me on this. I'm just looking for somthing to get me to and from the station to work.
Topher, will you try to get the s18?
Working on it! Definitely within the next month or two
today, do you still prefer this size?
It’s fun! Great for lower speed around town riding
@@TheTopher I just want a transport to near places like my gym or supermarket and stuff like that. probably wont need a ks16s for that, right?

Should I but 2? a 14D and a 18XL ? I have orb wheel x2 its not a serious product I find.
I've heard great things about the 18XL! Bigger is usually safer over rough roads, the only disadvantage is weight!
i hope you see this - which can cruise faster? This or the Inmotion V8?
The KingSong can cruise a bit faster, also the power cut isn't as abrupt.
