there is a pyromancy called rapport that mind tricks certain enemies to fight for you. it makes the millwood knights easy AF. you need the jailers ring key to free karla and she sells rapport. you're welcome
I understand you need to finish this DLC first, but like many others, I would LOVE to see you 3 do a Bloodborne series! It's a bit different than the souls games and I think that's exactly what is needed now that Rory has gotten the hang of the Souls playstyle. Plus it's an amazing game and contains plenty of surprises even for souls veterans.
With the amount of damage Rory is dealing to some enemies (swamp legs white hairy girl and Super crow), I reckon the Friede battle is going to take FOREVER.
After watching the accountant and never having heard of the Solomon Grundy verse before that, it for some reason freaked me out that Gav suddenly started singing the verse :D
Watching Rory play... sometimes I need to use both my hands to hold on to my head so it doesn't split into two. Like, there is a bit in this video where Rory comes to this courtyard with these two enemies in there, and he literally spends 7 Estus flasks just rolling around the courtyard, trying to evade the two enemies. And he's not trying to fight the baddos OR leave the courtyard until he's down to 3 Estus flasks -- at which point he gets killed. I love Rory - he's the most adorable pup in the pet store. But sometimes I feel like he has the attention span of a fruit fly. I also believe this is somehow Gav's fault. Love the show. Love you guys. Do Bloodborne next! :'D
hi, i'm from norway and i just completed dark souls 1 for the first time. I learnt to parry and i took down gwyn on the second try. the funny thing is that the hole time i watched prepare to try season in sync with my gameplay, and i learnt to parry because of Rory #Rorycanparry. Crazy lore: We don't know exactly when Gael returned to Ariandel and brought news of the Unkindled and embers, but it was obviously after the advent of Ash and kindling. Those in the painted world did not know of it prior. After this DLC, Gael heads out to find the Blood of the Dark Soul for the Painter to use as pigment, which is black. Time is not contiguous at this point in the timeline *outside* the painted world, and it seems to be more than coincidence that the Ariamis painting in the first Dark Souls is *painted only in black* and just happens to have the same statue that resides in the Ariandel chapel, portraying Friede and the Painter, while also being a safe home for those with no place in the outside world. From the very end of time, the Unkindled has just created part of the past world of the first Dark Souls.
you can use rapport on pretty much EVERYTHING in this DLC to make it a cakewalk. I was having a bit of trouble on the giant knights and the slashy slashy birds until I realized I could just turn them all against each other and then kill the last one while he stood there in love with my character.
I'm allergic to peanuts and the last time I had them/had peanut butter my throat and face was so swollen you couldn't see my eyes and I had to be rushed to the emergency room >.> same with eggs and wheat bread.

David Hilmarsson i prefer them to do bloodborne next, but dont get me wrong, i love ds2. Though, there are too many uninteresting bosses in the game which made it quite repetitive early on, with only a few like the lost sinner, smelter demon and uhhh...yea. Plus, the ones with the best bosses are in the dlc's, which cud take forever considering how ds2 has many 'quantity over quality' bosses. sure, most or some the bosses there gave me trouble, but not like a sort of interesting and fun in essence, which means they just lack that charm that ds1 and ds3 have.
I realized something: The attitude "we're not gonna use those souls" isn't really productive. The same happened when they were gonna face Nameless King. Remember, lads, this is an RPG. So instead of spending five hours dying to a boss, why not try to grind out some souls and level up? It could help you out. Also, please infuse your weapon!
A few levels arent going to make much difference at their level. As for infusion, have you seen the build? Infusion isnt going to help when half their points are in stamina.
These videos make the dullest days so much better, I've rewatched every video in these series at least twice.
