I watched Soul Train every single Saturday at noon. Then I would go dancing and try to remember all the steps from the dancers. I'm sure your grandmother and I danced and had fun to the same exact songs back in our day. The 70's American Bandstand, and Soul Train were our M.T.V. My dear you would have loved it all. God bless you for honoring your grandmother.

I love your grandmother. 70's music was the very definition of soul music, there was always a relatable story and they sang from the soul and you felt It in your soul. We will never have music like that again.

Don Cornelius was a staple on Saturday morning in my house. Soul Train introduced me to so much r&b and soul and funk. This is coming from a white 49 yr old truck driver. Music like this taught me that I can enjoy and appreciate everything no matter my background. Stay the course on this journey you’re on. You’ll appreciate it even more later in life as you share with your kids and grandchildren like I do. Keep pushing.👍👍

I Would Really Love To See You And Your Grandmother Do A Reaction Together Of An Absolutely Beautiful And Respectful Cover Of This Song By The Pretenders "Thin Line Between Love And Hate",, I Truly Believe You Will Both Be Pleasantly Surprised...I Will Look Forward To It.

I really enjoyed hearing this. I had only heard this song done by Chrissy Hynde and The Pretenders from 1984, but not this original version. Both versions are great!

I love this song. The band The Pretenders did a very good version in the '80s. It's so cool that you're connecting to your roots and doing a song requested by your grandma. I would like to see your reaction to the singer my mother loved and I have grown attached to after reexamining her. Please give a listen to "The Man That Got Away" by Judy Garland... th-cam.com/video/T0xV1d1bi_Y/w-d-xo.html
